the first sly was a fantastic game, and it needed a few changes, but it didn't have to be this dramatic. some of the good improvements are a better health system, crawling into small spaces, and new combat moves. but, for some reason, there's less platforming, and a bigger focus on stealth. I think stealth is fun, but the stealth in this game is pretty basic. and for some reason, you can only run if you hold down the r1 button, and when you're not running, you move pretty slowly. they also changed the way missions play as well, they're more open world and stealth based instead of the platforming that made the first game fun. they also gave murray a new voice actor and turned him into a a tough guy. and, you swing your cane slower to. the first game was really fun, but this is way to different
Sly 2 band of thieves is a fun game. with a main story that entitles 10-20 hours of gameplay. your also constantly looking for clus to unlock new moves. the game its self has infinite re-playability. as for graphics the maps really make you feel like your in this place, and the work is nice on the characters movements. This game wont challange your hardcore-gamer skills. but will provide a fun, relaxing thing to play.

remember playing sly and the thievious racoonus and how the linear style of the levels. now band of thieveshas that free roaming style where if your not in a mission then your probably killing enimies for money or collecting bottles. remember using coins for horse shoes and extra lives now you use them for money to buy new things. you dont have to worry about dying as much as the first one because you have a health bar. no extra lives this was all I was expecting in sly 2 but got new style of gameplay . this game shows that if a sequel is diffrent from the first its not neccesarely bad. in my opinion sure sly 1 and 3 were awesome but this is my favorite sly game.
