So I bought this for my friend because it was the first time he has ever owned a gamecube game and I picked up this and an official GC Controller. The Official one worked fine even though it's pre owned but this thing was new and in 1 hour the 2 C sticks stopped working! Also it feels tiny and uncomfortable compared to the regular controller. Don't get this unless your REALLY desperate! Even the WavBird is better.
I know for a fact that the regular is a lot smaller than this one . Huh , most people I know complain about it's bulkiness : \

This is a terrible controller. I bought one a few years ago to replace a broken gamecube controller, and the R & Z buttons didn't work. I assumed, and hoped, it was just an aberration. I recently picked up another one, exact same remote as 3 years ago, to play a couple old GC games on my wii. Same problem. R button works sporadically, Z button doesn't work at all. I don't spend a lot on games, but I absolutely won't be spending any more money on gamestop products.

So i bought this controller mainly becuase i really needed one and i was a bit short on money, this one seemed alright so i had it for about a week and a half and then i started to have problems, the analog stick starts to go out, so like your character will move all by itself and you have to fight with it to actually move where you want to move. (Trying to play Metroid Prime with this probem is not easy >:( ) In the end i ended up just throwing it away! Also the buttons stick a lot which is a pain too..... Save your selves the money and do not buy!

To tell you the truth, i am VERY gentle with all of my video games. My friend and i are playing Mario Party 4 and in a mini game all of a sudden he can't use the "R" button. Do not buy this. You will just be wasting your money. Make shure you get the official Gamecube controller (Nintendo). I have one of them and it has not failed yet.
