Killsmash the Barbarian
This game rocks!

I immediately fell in love with Champions of Norrath. I just picked it up one day and had never heard of it and had so much fun playing it and had so hoped for a sequel and so the developers delivered. Champions: Return to Arms is even BETTER than the first. One thing I really liked about it was that I could import my level 50 Barbarian and to know that I hadn't wasted time getting him there was great. Then come to find out I could get him to an even HIGHER level, I was sold instantly. The graphics are great granted it's on the PS2. The sound is cool and doesn't sound generic at all. The controls make it simple enough to where you can just pick it up and play without having to remember any complicated button combinations. I would really love to see another installment in this series on the PS2, PS3, and most definetly on the 360. The gaming community could more than use more hack and slash RPG's like these two and the Dark Alliance games. I would give this game way more than a ten on this site if it were possible. It's a great game to play whether you're playing alone, with friends, or online. Go pick this game up and never let it go for anything.

well i must say the new races are cool , the charcater creation could be better its not super the gameplay on the other hand is very indepth the abilty to have 4 ppl at the same time kill is awsome and the spells are very nice so many different spells to choose and just amazing attacks i have a few problems the attack buttons are kinda hard to rember what you using the magic changing methods are a little confusing when you are in a deep battle and the attacking in genearl is kinda bland no combos just hack and slash , pretty much the same thing as the last one just with added spells upgraded classes and more items. the cooproative is the best part by far with more ppl killing the boss fites are alot easier and you can have ppl to help with missions (which have some of the time the worst concepts, like really you must find this mermaid who is seductiave and all she wants is her conch back like really come on.)

This is one of the most amzing games ever!!!!!!!!! I have played this game 2 to 3 times through without getting bored! This game has so many differnt races you can choose from like archers, barbarians, mages, priest, axethrowing tigers, lizard mages, and even dark knights!!!!!!!! This game has an alrite story line its really just go here and kill him go here and here but its not repetitive at all. The length of this game is great it takes a while to beat but not 100 hours its a good liength (30 hours about, with out doing all the extras). Th esound is great like when you hit certain enimies they make differnt noises and when you hit a sheild it sounds a lot differnt than hitting a rock of something. The graphics arent bad but I have seen a lot better. It is a pretty challenging game if you go for all the extras, trust me thats really hard!!!!!!! Hundreds of ways to custimize you charector with over hundreds of differnt weaopns each with abilities and attack strengths and hundreds of armor with differnt defenses and abilities. I reccomeded this game to all people!!!!!!

The best hack and slash RPG of all time
PostedApril 1, 2008
I thoroughly enjoyed Champions of Norrath. When they made this sequel I was a little worried. Champions of Norrath seemed to have everything I ever wanted in a hack and slash RPG and I was worried they were going to ruin it's good name. I was dead wrong. They improved upon just about everything and took nothing away. There are two different storylines also, you can choose to be good or evil. Then, they added an additional 2 different character classes. They also added additional spells to each original player class. There are new weapons, armor, spells, and items that just give so much more to the game and make it flow smoother. They repositioned the map so that it isn't in the middle of the screen anymore, which was my biggest gripe for Champions of Norrath. I will never sell this game, I would rather lose a kidney. Pick this game up if you can manage to find a copy. You'll probably find a copy where they are hiding all the Nintendo Wiis.
