Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 is my most favorite game of all. The epic story of Dragon Universe is intense. Something that i love about Dragon Universe is that its not that short over all. You can play with over 10 characters i think, with different stories! Also, the unlockables are awesome, especially the characters. You unlock these through the storyline or finding them. This game is also very easy to control. There is even a practice stage that you can pick at the main menu and kami will guide you through everything you need to know.Well, this game should be cherished if you have it. It was my first game about 6-7 years ago. Also, for dbz freeks (like me) watch dbz kai on nicktoons network.
i only came up to lvl 52 or something cause my game broke
I have played 6 DBZ games and this is the best. It may not be as well as Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi 3 which I haven't played but this game has value. The story mode is huge and fun especially with a friend. Many good characters not all of them though. Good moves and nice graphics. I got this in 2005/2006 and I still play it now and then. It really does have lasting appeal with all of its features and unlockables.
Dragon Ball z games are based on the anime, and when Budokai 3 came out....it lived up to the legend. Budokai 3 has if not almost near everyone from the anime in this game. The positives for this game are listed here: great stories that remake the anime; pretty great graphics for a ps2 game; keeps you playing until you play all of the game and unlock everyone; great for overnight playing at sleep overs, I should know that because I used to do that all the time when I was a kid about ten years ago; It knows itself; yes it's too jam packed with a lot of stuff but because of everything in it it is a truly outstanding game. The negatives for this game: Story Mode shows the people talking, but they are looking at you and they're not cutscenes or anything; just stick people looking at you pretty much; Is a hard game, yet can be too hard to unlock everyone, there may be too many secrets you have to know about. Overall, this game is worth any price you buy it at. I recommend this game to anyone who was/is/has been a dragon ball z fan. You should seriously consider this game; it will always live up to the series of its franchise of games as number one.

it is good but has not to many characters and has bad fighting style do not get this game get budokai tenkaichi 2 it is the same price
