Based on the Japanese soccer release World Soccer Winning Eleven 8, Pro Evolution Soccer 4 is developed by the legendary football expert Shingo Takatsuka. New free kick and penalty techniques can now be used, while an innovative indirect free kick has been implemented to add further variety to set pieces. This level of realism has also been extended to the ways players run, move both on and off the ball, and how they control the ball. A new dribbling system is also available giving more control as players go one-on-one and try to pass opposing players, while player likenesses are also enhanced to match the noticeable individuality of the world's greatest stars.

Great game, great price! A Classic!

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
A masterpiece of a game, the winning eleven ( formerly known as International superstar soccer, Now, PES - pro evolution soccer) has become a well known name the world over, however, after purchasing the disappointing PES 2011 on XB360, i decided to give this one a try on the Ps2 for old times sakes. True to the series, has great gameplay, great flexibility, and it is a game you will be craving to play over and over and very fun against a buddy or on worldcup mode against the CPU. Keep in mind this is for the ps2, graphics arent that bad for its age, and this game is a must have for the game collector or soccer fan, and at this price if you still own a ps2 its a steal! just dont go beyond Pes 2010, because on the 2011 edition the passing is crazy, no longer automated, the shooting even worse, you will constantly have the ball outbounds, and your players aI is totally absurd, offsides are constant and absurd and many well known features of the series have been altered/ removed and it is very frustrating to play.
