This is in my top 5 favorite games ever for good reason. God of War probably has some of the most epic music, gameplay, story in a video game it would be really hard to try to compare another games greatness to this ones, the gameplay in god of war is quite fantastic with fun and extremely satisfying combos that are hard to beat, the platforming in the game is also very fun with many puzzles and unlockables. This game tells an amazing story of revenge and betrayal, and matching soundtrack to get you pumped to defeat anybody that stands in your way including the God of War. Short review I know but less time talking more time playing and if you don't own this game yet, go to the store right now and pick it up!

This is one of my favorite games. I bought it used back in 2009 and I got hooked. This will sound crazy, but my MOM found this game and showed it to me! Didn't see that coming... This game is NOT for the weak hearted or Anyone under the age of 17. That rating is pushed to the limit in this game. I would say that no one under the age of 18 should play this game. The violence is unreal, the gore and blood is just something else, and there is a secret mini-game that..........I'll let you find it on your own. Don't let your kids play or watch this game. Like the rating says, "blood and gore, Violence, Nudity, etc." The storyline is well put together and the button mapping is very fluid. I have played King's Field and Dark Alliance so the controls are 2nd nature for me. The puzzles in this game are difficult but they are not too hard. My favorite area is Pandora's temple. A lot of fun stuff to do in there... One of the more screwed up puzzles is the one where you have to kill the soldier in the cage to get through to the next area. The final boss fight is a royal pain in the butt. It took me over an hour to kill that guy... I died 3 times. Overall it is an excellent game and I highly recommend it. If you think the first one is good, get the 2nd one. It's a lot better and there is some cool new stuff.
r u trying to express that u like cant play this game when u r under 18 ? dude im 11 and I've played and beat them all ! But , thats my only problem with this review the rest is good ... ):(

when a new game of a series comes out, it comes with a new story and some other features, but what's annoying is that after a while, everyone forgets the original version and says it's bad. Let me just remind you right now that although God Of war 2 and 3 might be better than 1, that doesn't mean one is bad. 2 and 3 are aftermaths of one, or addons. 1 is the original, 1 is the one which set the pillars for the entire series, and 1 IS THE ONE!!!! I remember when this game came out. It revolutionized the entire gaming industry. The action packed game which blew away your mind, the epic music, the "not corny" and smooth story line,the amazing sound, and the ability to feel what kratos is feeling.This game is amongst the best games I've ever played, and rattled the gaming universe.
