This was the first Resident Evil game that I've ever played. I'm glad that I started out with this one, because it left me with a good taste in my mouth. The story is pretty interesting, the graphics match the game perfectly, the gameplay, while very repetitive, and sometime boring, is pretty good, but it could use improving. I can tell that it borrowed some ideas from Silent Hill, especially Silent Hill 3. The two of them have pretty similar stories, minus the zombies and stuff. While it's a great game, the game can get repetitive very quickly, and I sometimes had to force myself to play it. Fantastic game, but not as good as any of the Silent Hills. I might have to go out and play the rest of the games now...
I first played this game in my first year in high school and i kid you not I was so scary of the town zombies i turned the video game system off and starting doing my homework. This game is very fun but very scary also I would tell anyone who like to play video games that this is one type of game at you should buy some snakes and turn off the lights in every room and sit and play this game & if you have big speakers turn the bass and play this game. The best survival horror game ever made. I've played this game on every console it's been put on. Gamecube, PS2, Wii, PS3, you name it. This game still scares me to this day and never gets old. If you've never played this game, you are not a true gamer.

If you like reident evil then you will love resident evil 4 this one has a good story line and a longstoryline but sometimes if you let your kids play raed M games hey might get a little scared.
