Pros: fast pace action, variety, and nice cinema with skip scene
Cons: Slow starter and needs more replay value
This game was worth a preorder
To get things rolling, you do start off as Roxas. Don't get discouraged or disappointed because you will eventually play as Sora soon. This game does start of slow due to that reason, but even if you cut the slow part out the game is still lengthy. You also need to always be on guard and prepared. Sometimes sora fight's alone or you need to hit your reaction command at the right time to get out of sticky situations. This all adds a extra flare to the game.
In this installment drive forms are introduced which add some cool features like wielding 2 keyblades! From what I understand there are 5 forms. Valor (physical attacks only), Wisdom (magic attacks only), Master (a balance of valor and wisdom), Final (a upgraded version of master), and anti-form (which seems to happen randomly). What is really nice about these forms is that they each level up differently. So it erodes away some of the feeling as if you have to grind a lot.
Some worlds in the game have more to it than just fighting. Like Atlantica you play musicals by timing the buttons just right. Olympus you can enter in tournaments (like the previous one). Pride's Rock you don't have the option of using your basic forms, but you play as a cub that has some different move sets.
If you get too tired of fighting you can always shoot stuff down with your gumni ship. Even though this won't help the game in the replay department. In which there is no online/multiplayer and not even at least a new+. It is always nice knowing you have that option. Also the game has a nice cinema experience, but if you don't like it you can skip it. So just sit back and enjoy watching or playing this game.

BEST GAME YOU WILL EVER PLAY :D
PostedNovember 7, 2011
Helloooo I promise i won't make this long!
Kingdom Hearts 2 is the best game i have ever played i have had it for several years and i still love it! In general the WHOLE Kingdom Hearts series is amazingly good it is sooooo fun to play with the family and get into! I would have to say the 2nd game was much easier than the 1st the graphics, colors, sound, and game play are spectacular!! I would recommend it for people of all ages! Fun for the family!
*NOTE FOR THE PARENTS*: THIS GAME IS VERY APPROPRIATE FOR ALL AGES! NO SWEARING OF ANY KIND! NO FEMALE CHARACTERS WITH OVER WHELMING V-NECKS! It's a Disney game so don't worry about that kind of stuff with your child.
*The reason i posted that note to parents*
Alot of parents see how people say its a great game then they find out there is swearing or profanity and become very unhappy and get the "what kind of parent am i!!??!!" feeling haha dont worry this game is perfect for all ages and it keeps you interested all the way through!

Cheesy yet Satisfying
PostedNovember 5, 2011
Kingdom Hearts 2 is a spectacular game. There are plenty of awesome collectables and power ups. When you first play it, the game isn't too easy or too short to beat. Although the characters and the story were very cheesy at points, it was always fun to play. Besides, all anime is cheesy.
