This game is AWESOME! If you are a skateboard fan than definitely get this game. Even if you aren't a skateboard fan it is still fun. This is fun also because you can ride on a bike if you don't want to ride a skateboard. I would buy this game no matter how it cost.

i was really impressed by this game it took the tony hawk generation to the next level if the skate series wasn't out this game would be number one! great graphics for ps2 amazing replay ability and a shocking storyline this is a must by if skate isn't an option.

Tony Hawk's American Wasteland is by-far the greatest Tony Hawk video game ever. I've had it for two years and it's still my favorite game.The gameplay is amazing. There are many new tricks, and special tricks. The story is awesome in this game. But sometimes you just want to put down your skateboard, you know? Try something new. Well, how about a bike! There's also BMX in this game. The soundtrack is totally SICK! There's artists like Green Day, Alkaline Trio, Rise Against, Black Flag, and even my favorite band, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE!!! I sold my PlayStation 2 and all of my other games to GameStop, all except this one. I kept it on top of my counter. I definitely recommend it to everyone.
