TONY HAWK AMERICAN WASTELAND IS ON OF THE BEST GAMES ON THE PS2 GOOD GAME ITS BA AND SOME MISSION ARE HARD AND SOME ARE MEDIUM AND SOME ARE EASY SO ITS GOOD ITS WORTH A 1000 WORDS MAYBE MORE.

This game is awesome. It's so much more fun than the new skateboarding games. The world is HUGE and there are a lot of missions to the story. The gameplay is second to none among skateboarding games. The graphics are ok, but hey its a PS2 from 2001! Also, the music is great with good songs from all genres. Its good skateboarding music. I recommend getting this game because you will play it for hours and have a great time!
so i own tony hawks underground (thug) and tony hawks project 8 (thp8) and i must say this game has great things from thug and great things that they later put in thp8. THE GOOD- you can spray paint /tag anything and create your own mark. you can throw your board at things. you can do parkour tricks. you can create your own park. you can purchase from a varaity of tattoo sleves (which you cant do in both thug or thp8). you get to see the transformation of the park you are making which is called american wasteland. you can earn money at anytime so eventually you can buy anything there is to buy. riding bmx bikes was fresh and entertaining. the is an alien and a panda costume you can wear. graphics for gameplay were better and smoother than thug and thp8 although cutscene graphics were better in thp8. and yes you can literally go to every level without loading screens or anything like that. THE BAD- many goals involve you doing something to retrieve pieces for american wasteland and it will feel repetetive for a while. THE END- i think that this game is tied with Tony Hawks Underground for best tony hawk game (they i have played so far)
