this game is by far one of the best i played on the ps2. sadly it broke a year ago, and ever sence, i cant stop remembering the game. a great adventure game, along with wonderous senery and some hidden side objectives. over all, its a great time consuming masterpeice.
Epic... Its a great game that gives one a sense of adventure, usage of swords, bow and arrows and horses. The land seems immnese and what a better thing to do than kill a colassus creature roaming around to help save your girlfriend? This game definitley gives you the sense of accomplishment once you kill one of those beasts. Great game.

Great Adventure Game, Awful RPG

This game is nothing like Zelda, but I can see how on the surface it might fool you. There are no dungeons, little story, few characters with little personality and few puzzles. The game starts off with the main character bringing his dead girlfriend to the forbidden temple of a god-like being, the being tells him that since he has a magic sword, it's possible to bring her back to life. But there's a catch, you have to defeat these huge Statue-like things. And that's where the story ends. You head off over a barren landscape, with no enemies, on your trusty horse to climb and take these things out. Lather, rinse. repeat. If you're looking for a solid RPG, stay away, far away! But if you're into adventure games, this might be for you.

*Facedesk* This isn't an RPG. It's an adventure game. Few puzzles? Each of the colossi are a puzzle. I know that the story is hard to get. Next time you buy a game, make sure you know which genre it is.

Best PS2 Adventure Game

This is one of my favorite Ps2 games. If you enjoy killing giant creatures, this is a perfect game. Struggle to hold on to those creatures backs, and enjoy the ride!
