Did you buy this product for yourself or someone else? For me
This is a warning to all people purchasing a new remote. Always get the orriginal brand and not a knock-off brand! I got this remote and it worked fine for a few months, but eventualy it started malfunctioning by making my games automatically go in one direction. It still works for movies, but games are out of the question.

I bought this controller shortly after I got my playstation 2. The problem with this is that I didn't have a lot of games, so I couldn't test out the controller. After I got some more, I discovered that some of the important buttons didn't work and the warranty was already over. I don't know if it was just my controller or if all of them are like that, but I wouldn't recommend spending 20 dollars on this small, rather uncomfortable controller. Instead, I would buy either the actual sony brand dual shock 2 controller or gamestops chameleon brand controller.

I picked this up used because I thought it'd be nice to not have to deal with wires. The dongle is rather large at 3 1/8" L x 2 3"4" W x 1/2" H which sticks out 1 1/2" further than your standard memory card. The controller is same width of your standard Sony controller 6 1/4", same height 3 1/2" which is nice but the design is slightly weird. The battery compartment is right below the center of the controller which makes it difficult to really wrap your fingers around the controller under the joysticks with 1/4" between the compartment and each handle. The "Select" & "Start" buttons are flush with the controller face so it makes it difficult to depress the buttons suddenly in the middle of a game if you've got adult sized fingers. Also has a rather "cheap" feel to it, definitely not as durable as the Sony controllers. It appears to be "OK" in my book for kids & such but for an adult I recommend picking up one made by Logitech.

This is a pretty amazing controller, it is wireless so no tangled cords, it small design helps me keep my hands ready to press any buttons and move the analog sticks and easy to store anywhere, it resonds to any button being pressed perfectly, it is much cheaper to buy than anything else, it came in many colors to match my style. True, it was a little wacky when I first bought it, but in just a little while it started working perfectly fine. The battery life on it is just amazing for a wireless controller, it's comfortable design help keep my hands from sliding off of it, it's pretty strong if dropped, it responeds one hundred percent perfectly while playing my favorite series of games. I would strongly recommend this product to everyone that owns a Playstation 2.

Well I felt compelled to write a review, seeing as I've had this controller all of... one day, and already it's not working. Thank god for the 5 year warranty and me saving the receipt!First, the biggest issue: its responsive time is practically non-existent. Tested it with two different games: Star Wars Battlefront, and MLB '09: The Show. In both games it stalled several times, with either my character just running blankly forward or no action made at all, despite me pounding on the buttons. No, I don't pound like a total sissy, this was angry thrashing trying to make my characters work consistently. Also, the controller, while advertised as a "mini," doesn't even do a mini controller justice. The battery pack in the rear and the too-small handles on each side mean that you have no room to grip, as your fingers are jammed by the battery pack and can't even really grab onto the handles anyway. This coming from a guy with very thin fingers too. The buttons are far too close together as well, with the L1/L2 and R1/R2 buttons mashed at the same time on frequent occasions due to their close proximity and small size. And finally, the Select and Start buttons are made to look invisible, and that's helpful... how? I have to tear my gaze from the game to look at the controller just to find the buttons, which I know are in the center (as usual), but because they're so small and transparent, and don't even raise above the controller (they're embedded), I can't find them without looking.
