I always hear people saying that it was a bad game but I never judge one until I play it and I have to say that this one was really good. I enjoyed playing it and the Graphics where good for PS2. The story made since and the battles had a challenge to them. So over all I think that this game is worth playing.

Not a bad game, although it did not meet my expectatiions it still worth a play through.. The one I'm more disappointed in is XIII

This game is one of my favorite RPGs. I love the open environment; I'm a huge fan of open-world RPGs and this was quite similar to that. The game is just rich and full of fun things to do. You could spend countless hours playing this game in its entirety. Some of my favorite parts of the game- Monster Hunting, the battle system, the overall gameplay, and like I already said, the open environment chock full of side quests. The level-up system where you use your XP (I think it's called the License Board) is fun and exciting as well. Overall, great amazing game PLEASE BRING THIS TO THE PS3 PLEASE!!!!! I also wanted to add- I think a lot of the reason this wasn't as widely loved as say FFX or X-2 is because since it's an open environment, the story can be lost while you run around doing side quests & such. The story is NOT the strong point of this game, the gameplay is. I cared about the main story but it wasn't my focus, I made my own story with this game!! It sort of reminds me of Oblivion- not exactly a "rich story" either, because the focus is on YOU creating your own story with your character. The main story is just support/guidance for amazing gameplay and your own character development. I did enjoy the characters in this game, I think that is just a matter of taste since some people weren't feeling them. Overall, if you are a gamer who loves a linear main story line, this is PROBABLY not the game for you. However, I always say people should try games and put in at least 5 hrs before saying they didn't like it. Also, I'm going to say this again so it's at the bottom of my review as well- PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING THIS GAME TO PS3!!!!
