This Installment of FF marks the beginning of the end of the series. Bland story, Uninteresting characters...and to be blunt... an all around BORING game. I can't believe I said that about a FF game, but it is absolutely true. Those of you who have rated this game highly either were born too late to understand why this series has declined so much, or you are easily entertained by the pretty graphics. The story has absolutely NO build up to the final battle. I was literally hoping for it to end as soon as possible to end my misery. That said, Some of you will actually enjoy this. Me? I'm going place this disk carefully in my trash receptacle to make sure it doesn't accidentally find a spot in my RPG collection.

I played this game at my friends house after 3 hours of nonstop gaming i bought a ps2 and this game The story line is the best and the whole Gambits thing was a great idea.

Dull game

I traded this game in about 4 months ago after owning it for a year and a half.Did I beat it?NO...Did I like the story?What story???Seriously speaking I was lost!! The voice acting was BAD,I give Square enix credit for the music thats always good.The opening scene was lovely I'll admit,but frankly speaking I gradually lost interest in this game.You like it?Great!!..You wanna buy it cuz alot of the reviews are possitive?Good luck then.

One of the best games I have ever played. very emersive story line, loveable characters, amazing graphics, and a great gameplay system are just some of the great things about this game. I am on about my 4th playthrough. The only thing that it is lacking is a romance, you are not as attached to the characters as much as say yuna and tidus. There is something new to find every time. You can beat it in about 45 hours, but it is easily a 100+ hour long game if you play it through all the way and do all of the hunts. I definently recomend this game to rpg gamers, for a ff enthusiast it takes about an hour to get used to the new battle system but once you are past it you are gonna love it.
