This headset just doesn't work. As soon as I took it out of the box and tried using it, it wouldn't work. I could only hear people but the mic doesn't work so they can't hear you. It's not even good as just headphones.

This is not just people rating 1/10 because they felt "meh" about it. This is a genuinely awful product, should be a 0/10. I bought mine, the fuzzy bit around the mic came off before I got it out of the package. It is indeed the lowest grade plastic you can use, quite liable to snap under any sort of regular use (assuming it actually worked that long.) It worked for less than five minutes before anyone around me started complaining of horrible static. I took it back less than an hour after I bought it and got a real headset. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Truly the bottom of the barrel. As good as it felt to write this review, it's sad that I can't even exaggerate.

Echos, Disconnects at random, poor chat quality. It lasted for like a week id say. Other users i chatted with said they heard themselves echoing frequently. I also would hear my own voice echoing just as much.

I got this headset free with gamestop rewards points. Discarding all the horrible reviews for this headset I don't think it's too shabby! It's worked pretty good for me. I've had it for 2 months and it hasn't broken yet. I mean for free you can't go wrong! I personally would NOT pay full price for this headset. For those people saying the headset breaks easily..take more care of the headset. If you just throw it on the ground and don't care for it of course it will break. If you take good care of it you should get a few months of use with it!
