I bought this item for my sons 3DS, the store clerk told me it was great. The jack fits too tight and sure enough 2 months later the entire housing comes out with the jack! Buyer beware!! Nintendo will fix this for 100 dollars, that's absurd.

While the comment is informative the poor rating on performance is vague. Other than being very tight did it provide enough charge to the unit? I'll have to buy the charger myself and try it out. I hate to think that it will be a tight fit but if it provides the desired charge during a long car ride I can work with it.
