Forget all the positive reviews, it's garbage

After trying to configure the wheel it was very clear it was not very good. For any competitive game it is worse then a controller. lack of rotation and force feedback lead to a recipe for disaster. either you're understeering like mad or are oversteering without notice. for the money you will spend, pay a little more for a lot better.

Terrible
PostedOctober 30, 2012
I bought my Xbox wheel for $100. I love it and it lasted a long time. If finally broke and my local gaming store had one of these so I tried it. It is terrible. The wheel angle is all wrong as if I'm driving a bus or something. It doesn't lay in your lap nicely like the xbox version the steering feedback is non existent. It is a cheap child's toy not for the serious racing gamer. Get the real Microsoft wheel if you can...immensely better quality at the same price point.

Cool, if you like finishing last.

I read some reviews and asked people, they said not to buy it, I didn't listen to them and got one. I used this for Forza 4, the slightest movement in the wheel can send you veering off course, the steering wheel is extremely small, I kept accidentally hitting the X button over and over when turning, the paddle shifters are extremely small and plastic, and the gear lever is a cool add on, but I think pushing it forward to shift up isn't as nice as pulling back to shift up. The way it sits on your lap with the holders is nice so it won't fly around, the suction cups are horrible, the peddles are badly designed where the brake and gas is, you always just slam on the brake without warning. I'm a good Forza player, but I couldn't win one race even with the best cars, all I did was slide out with this steering wheel. MadCatz is a company that's motto should be "You get what you pay for".
