The PSP is aweome!! You can practically do anything like movies, live tv, camera, photos, videos, connecting to the ps3, internet, skype, AND Playstation Network! I've had a PSP for a while and surley prefer it over my DS and its better then the DS and the upcoming DSi. It has cool graphics that I love about it! It's the best portable game system out there! I mainley us it for gaming but i like to surf the internet with it and i use skype tp talk to people plus i have some music on it to listen too. The PSP is like a mini PS3 or PS2 which is aweome having all of your playstation with you always into to one super packed portable gaming system. I just hope they keep selling the PSP Slim Core packs because those are my favorite ones. But I would definently sdvice someone to get this system.

The PSP is a great portable gaming device, it can play games, of course, it can listen to music which is cool, it can watch movies although they don't have too many good ones out, to me at least, it can go on the internet at pretty good speeds considering it's a handheld, it can hook up to a computer, and PS3, and PS2 via USB, can store photos and videos, has Skype, can use a video-out function, can watch T.V. from it (although you need to buy a Location Free Base Player) you can also get pictures from your camera, via USB, it can Game Share, it can also access files and go on the PS3's home page thing, using Remote Play, also has internet radio, RSS channels and if you get the 3000 series model it has PlayStation Network. In conclusion, if you need a portable gaming device and a whole lot more! then get the PSP!, you won't regret it, thank you for listening to me, and have a good day.

I got thus system for Christmas last year (2007) It's been a great system I've had no problems with in the PSN (Playstation network) Is great I got rayman 2 the great escape from the PSN, I've baut five games now, I don't play it as much as I use to But I have been playing it allot lately It's great! The Sony PSP Is a good system, My brother had a DS lite It just isn't as fun as the Sony PSP. (In my opinion) But The DS is good to. Well anyway if your planning on getting a PSP you should! (You could get a DS lite to!) But I like the Sony PSP more! There aren't very Manny fun games on the DS But I could name a couple Fun games For the PSP like Daxter and crash tag-teem-racing! Personally I think this is more a system than a handheld!

Come one. This is the Playstation Portable. It plays games. Duh. It plays Music. Cool. It plays movies in Excellent quality. Really cool. It surfs the web via Wifi with good reliability and decent load times considering its hardware. Fantastic. IT HAS A PHONE! That's something to think about. The PSP 2000 series comes with skype installed which for a $50/year fee will get you unlimited minutes to anyone, basically anywhere. That is something that you could sell in of itself. More on that later. The PSP is a little bit cramped. Maybe I have big hands but its hard to use the control nub on the left with your thumb, it's really close you your hand so it's kinda cramped. The only other thing I have problem with is that to turn off the "hold" mechanism is to push up on the power button. This could turn your system off while watching a movie. No worried, it comes right back to the same spot, but can be annoying. Other than that I have beat bent thrown and other wise abused my PSP and it still works like new. The wide screen in amazing, I downloaded V for Vendetta (great movie) in PSP format and I swear it's just perfect. You can see every detail and hear every thump. The games I have are refined and look like tiny PS2 games. IT's just amazing. Sound is where it leaves off. The sound is so... not soundly? If you are in your room and its pretty quiet it sound like it should be loud, but if you're on a bus or outside, you can barely hear the thing. Headphones are really useful with this device. I bought a pair of premium quality and the PSP is still kinda quiet, so a little loss, but it's not a mouse... Maybe I just like things really loud. My friend has used and he turns it down, so I might be a bit hard of hearing. Either way I'd like to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Functionality: IT HAS A PHONE! I'm sorry that is just amazing. I have a very crappy phone and when I'm in my room I can call all my friends on Skype for a low fee and text all I want. It's nice. The wifi is strong, you can get signals from a good ways away, and it streams internet radio that has hundreds of stations, which I use nightly. Movies, Music, Games, Pictures, Resizing, Wallpapering them, setting ring tones, It's a mini massive media mogul. Performance is amazing. It could use a bit more RAM. If you're playing music it might be slow to open a picture up, and it can't run music and browser at the same time, but those are minor things. It's not a laptop, it's a bit more than a PDA, it's a game system at its heart though, so you should look at it as that and see all the things it has equipped with it. It's an amazing piece. I wold recommend this to anyone who has more than a need for games, like an mp3 player video player or even a modest web browser. It can just be used so may ways. And with certain... Modifications it can be used in many more.
