WAY too fragile.

I bought the deep red god of war PSP slim in June and it's broken already. A drop from about six inches broke the headphone jack, and now I can't listen to music or play Patapon (a rhythm game) due to the system's below sub-par speakers. Otherwise, it's an okay system. The built in web browser isn't too slow, many of the games are really good, and many can be found under $10 used (Daxter, Wipeout Pure). The graphics are nearly identical of the PS2's. It's really the most fun if you have the technical skill to hack it. Once you do, you can play GBA, N64, SNES, and more games on it. It can also be used for music, many types are supported, so you don't have to spend time converting your Wma's or Wav's. Plus, the internet radio's a nice touch, allowing you to listen to radio through your wifi. Overall, I do not recommend this product to the clumsy, young, or those who already own a DS. If you do end up buying, please use a wrist strap, it'd be worth it.

The psp is one of the most amazing systems I’ve seen, smaller than a ps2 faster than a ps3 and ps2 graphics. The problems I see with it is that there is a poor game selection and you pretty much got to be a adult to play most of the games that are good. But there are a few that I like that are teen, untold legends warriors code, madden 09 and ratchet and clank are good. The thing that got to me is the design, it slips right out of your hand if you play it non stop like I do. And another thing i don't get is how people can't get there's hooked up to the internet! You need one thing A WIRELESS ROUTER! I hate wireless but seeing as most of my contraptions take wireless (wii, psp, comp, ds, ipod and celly) I got a Linksys Wireless N router and is ok, sometimes i get connection problems but whatever. So in conclusion the psp rocks!

I really like the psp except for one thing they break so easily. I went through 3 of them in one year. It has pretty good games like Grand Theft Auto and if you get the internet hooked up you can google from up to 30,000 feet. But thats the tricky thing is getting it hooked up to the internet. I tried and tried with absolutely no luck and another con of the psp is you can get bored of it fast and you need lots of memory sticks for just 20 games and the memory sticks are expensive. They run like 60$ for a 2 GB memory stick. And don't get me started on the graphics on some games they STINK! Like Hellboy 2: The Golden Army it takes like 20 mins for your enemy to get up after you punch it. And Grand Theft Auto it freezes every 5 seconds. Buying this system is a big mistake. I should have bought Rock Band which is an awesome game and I recommend it.

The psp is great, i got mine last summer, most of the games aren't that great but as an overall system its fantastic. It's great for long trips, music, games, movies, and when you get to your hotel you can blog about your freakin' 19 hour drive to the middle of nowhere with its internet connectivity. If considering purchasing though, i would hold out until october, which is when the psp 3000 will be out. So the price of these models might go down. The slims do feel a bit fragile but it's nothing to worry about, also i noticed that they put a glossy finish on the back, sure it makes it look way sexy but when you play your hands will sweat and everything will get all slippery. You might also like the fact that you look like a sophisticated adult when playing it instead of looking like a two year old on the ds.
