One word AWESOME! i think this might be the best game for ps2. This game is my faverite for the ps2 Okami keeps u going for hours and hours of fun! this game is for people that love japanese paintings and animals. Okami takes a VERY long time to defeat the bosses are the hardest but the rest of the game is easy. Issun is very funny in most parts like when he says melons to a priestess (best line in the hole game). I love how you have to finish the constellation to get a new power and see a animal that looks like you by the colors. Then you have to try it out the new power with your brush. Okami is one of those games you never want to trade in its a fun loveing game with things you will not see in other games.

i love this game this is a game for people that love japanese paintings and animals. This game takes a VERY long time to defeat the bosses are the hardest but the rest of it is easy.

Get This if You Have a PS2 or Wii!

Okami made by Clover Studios is the most creative game I've ever seen, and it's one of my favorite PS2 games. Clover Studios made some of the best games, like Viewtiful Joe (Rated Teen) and God Hand (Rated Mature). Okami let's you use a paint brush to slice enemies, create pathways, and lots more. You play as Amaterasu, a white wolf and the god of suns, who has to save Nippon from monsters who dwell from the darkness. As you save the land, you gain new powers from the other gods you can use with your paint brush, powers such as Cherry Bomb and Bloom. Your not alone, you have Issun, a tiny creature that everyone calls a bug, gives you little hints and clues on your way. This game is also released on the Wii if you don't have a PS2. I recommend this game to any gamer.
Okami is perhaps one of the best (if not the best) games I've played. With a wonderful storyline based almost entirely on Japanese mythology and a cell-shaded art style made to look like Japanese sumi-e paintings, Okami is a game that won't disappoint. I've given the game to friends who would hardly consider anything other than an FPS, and they were instantly captivated by it. I feel like the PS2 version is much better and much more polished than the Wii port; so if you own a PS2 I would highly recommend getting it for the console it was originally produced for. It's a wonderful game, enjoy! :)
