a fantastic game

this game has wonderful art direction, and game play. the controls are a bit finicky for the Wii's brush techniques, but this game has overall smooth controls. The in game graphics look like they were drawn on parchment paper, giving it a cartoon-like feel. The T rating should not scare away parent for buying it for the kids, the game has little-to-none graphic content. The main character,Amaterasu,is a wolf-god and has to do many different tasks to level up.the only problem that might occur to a gamer is completing the game 100%,as there are many things to collect.overall, this game is great for any gamer that is dedicated enough to finish it.

Beautifully drawn!

This game has style to it. This is the first time I have seen a game like this. Computer rendered Japanese art. It's done beautifully. (And I don't use that word much either.) The music was done really well to. I like the Japanese style of music. But my only downfall on the sounds was the voices they had. It got annoying after awhile. The game play was almost flawless. The only problem I had with it was the controls. It was hard to paint what you wanted sometimes. You would paint one thing and something else would happen. But all in all the game had a great feel to it. I would recommend this to my friends. Even one of my friends is borrowing it right now.

A new timeless classic.

What do you get when you mix Zelda style adventure gameplay with an art style inspired by classical Japanese paintings and a story inspired by Japanese mythology? You get one of the best adventure games of all time. If you haven't already played Okami, please stop calling yourself a "gamer". This game settled the "games are art" debate long before Roger Ebert stuck his nose in.
