Probably the best game on PS2 with Persona4 as a close second. The graphics are truly art and the story line is heart-wrenchingly beautiful. If you're someone who can form an emotional bond with games and characters Okami is seriously for you. I've played this game over and over since its release and always find something new and exciting and emotional about it. 10/10 my favorite game in the whole world.

Gameplay? Awesome... Art style? Awesome... Music? Amazing!... Need I say more? (actually yes to fill the minimum letters typed.) The controls are fluid, however I prefer the wii's controls. same game though. Nice Japanese painting-like art style. Beautiful! Music is maybe the best-ish part of the game... MAYBE... And even after you beat the game, you unlock something new! (Depending on factors)* *I played the ps2 version but only beat the wii version.
Amazing game and WORTH Game of the Year '06. Worthwhile buy and a game you can replay & enjoy again and again. It is and will forever be my favorite game.

most unique game has great graphics and rpg elements and combat is kewl. has platforming moments in an open world. brush techniques is the best game play mechanism ever! so original and underrated at its time of release..now it is finally gonna be available hd in november 2012 only on psn. but you should buy a ps2 hard copy while they are still available cuz will someday be collectable amongst gamer namby-pambys.
