I love this game!!!!! I would recommend this game to anyone with a Nintendo Wii. If you do not own a Wii, purchase Wii and purchase this game. The controls are amazing. The Wii Wheel makes racing fun, but it is a little challenging. Luckily, you can race with the Classic Controller, a GameCube Controller, or the Wii Remote and Nunchuck. I love the wide variety of characters you can choose form. You have your basic Mario Characters, and a selection of a few Donkey Kong characters. The tracks are just amazing, with no two tracks alike. Some are long, some are short, some have more jumps, and some have more Power-ups. I love the music in the game, the graphics are amazing, each character weight class has a different variety of vehicles, and the game offers a decent challenge. After a while of playing Mario Kart Wii, you'll be over the challenge and you'll be winning races with no hesitation. It's games like this that make me a fan of video games.

This game is great. I always get this game for every system I buy and it always ends up being my favorite game for that system. I think Mario Kart Wii is the best version of Mario Kart ever. You can play online and you can also take a friend along with you. You can play online with a total of 12 people (including yourself) It makes it very exciting. There’s is tons of courses to choose from. The game is just so great. When you’re online you get to vote on which course you want to go to. The courses are very creative and fun. I love the new characters in Mario Kart Wii. There are several karts to choose from and they are customizable but some of the other versions of Mario Kart's karts were more customizable. There is also time trials mode which is nice for a solo player. You can also play other people ghost's. Battle mode is fun and really exciting with four people throwing bombs everywhere! Definitely get this game. It’s a must!!!
This game is awesome. For the first time ever you can drive your kart as if you are driving for real. There are all different kinds of tracks, even new ones. The tracks include: Maple treeway, koopa cape, and luigi circuit etc. The graphics and animation is great. it looks better then on the DS (of course!). The interface is great especially with the wii wheel. the controls are easy. You use 2 to accelarate, B or D-pad to throw items, and 1 to use the brake or drive backwards. And for the first time ever, you can now use motar bikes! Also, if you don't want to use the wii wheel, you can use the gamecube controller, classic controller, and the wii remote and nunchuck. (controls to these controllers are in the intruction booklet). if you like the other mario kart games, this game is for you!

My FAVORITE racing game!!!

I like racing games and I have played alot of different types. I have enjoyed the Need for Speed series, Road Rash etc. there are lots of choices out there. That said, Mario Kart for the Wii exceeds all of my expectations for a racing game. Let me say, there are a TON of unlockables here and you need to Google this game and see what they are, way too many folks are playing this game and do not understand there are 12 Karts per Racer (Small, Medium and Large) and approximately 25 Characters to play with. This game demands your time and patience and willingness to have a great time. From fast paced racing with probably the best force feedback of any racer for the Wii, to battling it out "Road Rash style" (an old motorcycle racer), this game has it all and is a total blast to play online. Get this game, it is an essential Wii Title that you should keep with your Wii for the rest of your time on this earth. (Also, Wii Sports, Punch Out, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Mario Galaxy, Tiger Woods 2010 , Tatsunoko vs Capcom, you need these games, go buy them and you will be happy.)
