Mario cart wii is definently a fun and exilerating game there are a lot of tracks. some tracks are from the older mariocart games. if you like doubledash you will love this game. altough the gameplay and button layout is simple (for the most part) to beat the game compleatly ( win all cahracters get all tracks get all modes to race in and to get all the carts) it is a good and fun challange. if you are going to get this game i highly recomend to have a game cube controller. because the steering wheel is hard to work for some people (like me). i do not recomend this game for any one under seven because like i said it is a bit of a challenge. the multiplayer is awsome and definantly a good game to have at partys . the only thing i was disapointed at was when you unlock mirror races in grand prix you cant play it in multiplayer. i highley recomend this game for someone who likes racing games even if your not into mario.

Excellent Racing Game For Beginning Racers

If you're new to racing Wii-style, love Mario games, or are looking for a game great for everyone in your house, this is the game for you! The new Bikes introduced are very fun and easy to handle, depending on which you choose. Whether you're familiar with Mariokart from other systems, such as the Nintendo DS version, or brand-new to it, you'll quickly and easily learn how to play this game. The Wii wheel makes steering the Karts very easy, and the variety of characters and Karts will make your experience very unique whether you choose to play the same Kart or Bike every time or challenge a new one every race! This game is excellent for all ages. Fun and fast-paced, the four-race Cups fly by while racing! Once you learn the controls, challenging family & friends is a cinch, whether in your living room or throughout the world using the Wi-Fi feature. The only part of the game that I could see boring people is the many familiar race tracks from the other versions of this game. Other than that, excellent game, Nintendo!

A must-own for wii owners

Mario kart wii is arguably the best wii game of all time. Whether you're a hardcore mario kart fan or a casual gamer who has never played mrio kart, this game is fun. It's the racing equivalent to wii sports (one of the best games for the wii, good for all ages) but better. Right now I have to talk about the controls. Anyone will love them. The addition of the wii wheel is great and it's the best way to play this game. And this is coming from a hardcore mario kart fan, so I can't imagine how much casual gamers will love it. However, hardcore mario kart fans will be able to use the game cube controller or the classic controller. If you use the wii remote and nunchuck for this game, you're an idiot. The advantages of using the wii wheel are the ability to perform mid-air tricks (which I'll explain later), the ability to hear when power ups are coming, and (in my opinion) more entertainment. There are many characters and each has 3-4 karts and bikes. I love bikes in this game. Also, there are 32 tracks, 16 new tracks and 16 retro tracks. I don't like most of the new tracks, so the retro tracks are a pro for me. Online play makes an appearance the second time in the series. In this you can play world wide, regional, or your friends. Online play has no lag. In fact, the only bad part of online play is no voice chat. Another new addition is the midd-air tricks. These are cheep, and were only made to make going off of canons more entertaining. Here are the good parts of the game: The great controls, the great graphics, and the wide variety in characters, kats and bikes, and stages. Here are the bad parts over the game: You have cheap weapons. In last place you get great powers-ups, in first place you get bad power-ups. When you go up ramps, shells can follow you and knock you off the course. In 150 cc, a new addition is cheating AI. This stuff annoys me, and reminds me why this game didn't get a 10 out of 10. Overall, mario kart is the best wii game, the best mario kart game aside from MArio kart Double Dash, a great party game, and a good game for all ages.

Absolutely Fantastic!

When I was finally able to get the game, I could not wait, if it was this hard to come by then it must be a great game. As a father of a 5 year old boy, and new to the gaming world, we both were excited, and tried it out right away. As an adult I'm always skeptical about games, but I thought it's for the kids, right?....wrong....it was a battle of who got to play the game. Definitely fun for all ages and even me who doesn't play much video games, I found some of it challenging. So after a long night of fighting with my son of who got to play next, I bought extra controllers and wheels the next day so the whole family could play, and it was worth it, even my wife is addicted. If you have kids or don't, this is a game you definitely must have, it's addicting and unlocking all the different tracks, players, and cars makes it even funner. So.....worth getting? ABSOLUTELY!
