This is a must buy , must play 2009 game. Watch and impressed by the graphic , listen to the pure deep n such realistic gunfire sounds , the intensity will immerse yourself into the game for hours, the weapons are so much powerful n great fun to use , what exactly give you motivation of keep moving and shooting your enemies is the blood-thing that pops out like cherry up on the enemies or your own comrades, that is just so much fun , enjoyable thing in KZ 2. Give your hands little exercises during long period of playing by turning a vault few times in certain area and also Test the steadiness of your hands when sniping using the wireless controller , it feel really great. Handling n controlling are not that bad, get used to it in no time at all , challenges are your motivations , packed with tons of challenging tests such as shooting the big machine gun helghast , elite shock trooper , arc trooper , one of the most highest threatened level is the ATAC drone.... I am little depressed with the story line though " why visari have to died " , I mean isn't it too cruel , KZone he lost the war , now KZ2 he died just like that ? but overall i am good when the Helghast finally launching an all-out-counterattack on ISA due to death of visari.( madness.... madnes) Graphic sound and interface are 3 things not needed to discuss here because u can see it on youtube and experience it in demo on ps3 . After all KZ2 campaign mode is awesome to play n outstanding to say. There are more to offer your greedy need , take it to multiplayer mode , it will blast your confusions apart , prove to you that it worth the money. U get to play with other who level just like you .. guns, types, everything ..., well let say if you are a rookie 1st time online ? you controlling the online play settings ( everything ) just like you control the gameplay.

killzone is a masterpiece of art
PostedApril 4, 2009
First of all i have to say this quit comparing this game with every other game made this game is really amazing from the way you play to the graphics. story line is great but what really makes this game fantastic is the online play from the first moment you step into the online mode there is destruction everywhere and you will get killed a lot the first time stepping on the online, but once you get the hang of it you'll be if your like me killing people with out a problem. This game has surely raised the bar for fps why well not for the number of people online at the same time (Resistance did that 60 player online ) but for everything that is happening with 32 players you see people going at it lighting all over the sky dust that u emit when moving a whole bunch of turrets, flying robot shooting at you and your teammates (vise versa)all this with 32 player goin at it at the same time its truly amazing and the quality of the graphics stay the same as the story line, and guess what lag yeah you see it but its nothing compared to others games that only handle 8 on 8 call of duty 4 really laggy gears of war2 haha so i really give props to the developer that made this game. The only problem that this game has is that its really addictive. So let me just stop now because i really cant say more but the only problem some of my buddies had was the controls but like i said you get used to it just like they did. Highly recommend it

Best shooter out right now

This game truly blew my mind. This game is one that I highly recommend to people who are fans of shooters. The story line is great, the graphics are great, and lastly, the battles you fight are epic and wide-open. This game holds a challenge most definitely. The ending was fantastic and I hope that they make Killzone 3. Don't think twice about buying this game. Any fans of shooters, go buy this game. Personally I think this game is better then Call of Duty World at War. The sound on this game is really great, it isn't muffled to the point where you have to turn it up really loud to hear. The guns that you can get in this game are really fantastic. I think this game definitely deserves a 10 out of 10 in reviews. This game tops every game that i've played in a long time.

The Good * Well-paced campaign keeps you in the thick of action * Great online play constantly rewards you * Intricate, balanced multiplayer maps * Weapons are beefy and fun to shoot * Visually stunning, both technically and artistically. What makes Killzone 2's single-player campaign so much fun? First and foremost, the weapons are a lot of fun to shoot, even the standard assault rifles that form the core of your loadout. The M82's effective scope makes zooming in on your target a breeze, yet this rifle is effective at close range as well, establishing itself from the beginning as a formidable firearm. The LS13 shotgun is also powerful and rewarding to fire; though you may only shoot off a foe's helmet with other weapons, you'll watch entire heads explode with a single blast from this close-range powerhouse. The bolt gun is another favorite, skewering enemy soldiers onto surfaces and exploding a short moment later. Though you're traversing a sci-fi setting, your weapons are decidedly modern-day, from the sniper rifle to the vicious flamethrower, with one exception: the lightning gun. This mighty instrument showers enemies with overpowering jolts of electricity, and though it's not available for long, it makes short work of robotic and humanoid foes. Each of these weapons feels just right; fantastic spurts of blood, outstanding animations, exquisitely detailed weapon models, and explosive sound effects fuse seamlessly and give a satisfying sense of impact every time you land a shot. Although there's a great variety of weaponry, you won't encounter that many different kinds of enemies as you fight your way across the war-torn landscapes of the planet Helghan. As in the original Killzone, your enemies consist largely of Helghast soldiers, yet though this limited selection led to monotony in the past, an assortment of factors in the sequel hold tedium at bay. The action is constantly pushing forward, leading you from one quality scripted event to the next and pitting you against bright AI opponents that have a remarkable grasp of battlefield tactics. These soldiers put up a fight and exhibit authentic behavior as you rain bullets on them. If you set your sights on a soldier peeking from behind cover and fire off a few rounds in that direction, he'll patiently wait until all signs of fire have vanished. Helghast will flank you and shoot blindly from behind cover, and should you toss a grenade in their direction, they'll quickly scatter. You'll normally be fighting alongside a computer-controlled teammate or even entire squads of fellow infantry. Enemy AI is just as concerned with your comrades as it is with you, so you'll never feel as if you have a bull's-eye plastered on your forehead, as is common with many other team-based shooters. As a result, Killzone 2's thrilling large-scale battles unfold dynamically and offer a legitimate challenge while rarely feeling unfair
