Great game!

spore is AWESOME! its realy fun to go around and kill stuff. but, if your not into that stuff, you could go the peaceful way. graphics are great. and with all the people saying that its crashing nonstop and stuff, i havnt had anything like that happen to my game, ive had it for months. very easy controls to get the hang of. and how many games have you played that let you create your own universe? you start out as a cell in tidepools. then you evolve to the creature stage (wich is probably my favorite stage) then there is the tribal stage, wich you must find food for your tribe, conquor other tribes, or befriend them. then comes the civilization stage. in this stage, you create a city and try to conquor or buy other cities. and then, finally comes the space stage. this stage is pretty fun to. you can do missions, go to war, or just blow stuff up. and you be able to do more stuff when the galactic adventures expansion pack comes out in june. bottom line is, spore is definitley worth the money. i suggest you buy it :)

I debated for many weeks whether or not I should get this game. I finally did, but I wish I hadn't. It's okay and all. I played it for a few hours but probably only because it was hard to get the hang of. I had more fun looking at the different things you could do with your creature rather than actually playing it. I'm not saying that it is not worth the money to everyone, because everyone has different likes and dislikes. It's a neat lil game but I don't think I will be playing it again. I have a very very very expensive laptop and for some reason when I installed this game it crashed my Flash Player and all hell broke loose. I know it's not me because my computer just laughs at the game Crysis. Any hard core gamers will know what that means. ;-) But anyway.... So if you have issues after playing it you might want to uninstall it completely. Once that was done then my computer worked fine. I don't really want to go through that again. Good luck to those that wish to try it.

Waste of time and money.

Ok so this title has few good aspects but there is plenty more negative aspects to go with it. I purchased this title for my spouse and nephew, upon entering my home with enthusasim to show them what I had purchased that they had been asking for...they seen the title installing it on the computer and then played it. The evolution stages and creation was alright for them and even myself. Once the tribal stage kicked in the game got a little more interesting. The space stage eventually came and then we found the planet was incredibly small, plain and boring and had much relation to the other 360 billion planets we traveled to. The controls are very poor, the limit of units and expanding of bases was very annoying and disappointing to everybody including myself. The only cool thing that had occurred was that at the end of the game in the center of the galaxy there was a sentient species that give you a big, long hard enduring battle. I won't tell you guys the ending but this is definitely not worth the money. It's very boring after you reach the space stage and it's very annoying that every 30 seconds you have to save your planet from eco-disaster or people warring your systems. You spend more time fighting off people attacking your system and saving it from eco-disaster then you do actually progressing.

Nero Breaker
Truly one of the best PC games out there

There has been alot of hype on this game and a good reason for it. This game is absolutely amazing, whether it is the gameplay, customization of your creatures, graphics, you name it. Don't let the kiddish look fool you, Spore is one of the games that can be played by all players, whether it's hardcore or casual gamers. I definitely recommend this game to anyone that has a PC or laptop that can handle Spore. It runs really well with those who have a minimum of about 2-3 gigs of RAM, a dual-core intel processor, and an up to date graphics card. That is the only downfall of this game, it takes a lot to run it, but it is totally worth it in the end. Playing online with friends is a plus on Spore, because you can download your friends creatures as well as others who are online.
