Did you buy this product for yourself or someone else? For me
I bought this case for my PSP 1000, which I STILL have BTW. The case has been upgraded to fit the 2000 and 3000 models.
It's very comparable to a case made by another manufacturer, BUT, it's better in many ways.
It's made out of polycarbonate, so it's real tough. It's lined with a rubber like material to cushion your PSP if you drop it. It can hold 2 memory chips, and 2 UMDs. It has cut outs in the right places, so that you can access switches and the headphone jack. AND, it's got a great screen protector built into it that locks the PSP into place, so if you tip the case while playing, the PSP doesn't fall out of the case ! !
The one bad thing about this case is that, if you DO drop it, the case pops open and the PSP can fall out. I know that doesn't sound good, BUT, the case ABSORBS the schock of the fall, and the PSP stays in good shape. I've dropped my PSP more than a few times, and this has happened to me, but my PSP still looks like new.
This case is worth the money, you should check it out !

I bought this case the same time I bought my first PSP, which was good because without it i think my PSP would already be broken. If you keep dropping your PSP like me, I recommend this case. It's the best one I've seen and you can still get to everything besides the UMD and the memory stick port without taking off the case. It's also latched in with a screen cover, which is another reason why I'm happy I bought it. Without it, my screen would be super scratched up. Another good thing about this case is that it has two spaces for UMDs and memory sticks, which saves your discs and memory cards from being messed up and/or lost. If you are looking for a case that keeps your system safe and is still really functional, then this is the best one around. I am really happy with this product.

This product is the best PSP case I've seen out there. It's a play-through case and it does work with the PSP-3000 series. Along with holding 2 UMD cases and 2 memory sticks, there is a protective cover that securely locks your PSP in the case. The cover also helps reduce glare surprisingly. It is very easy and natural to play pretty much any game while in the case and you can still charge it, plug in headphones, and use the power switch. There is an ever so slight draw-back when using the PSP 3000 because the cover that keeps the PSP in place covers the little mic hole that you speak into. But thats the only con that I can think of other than I wish it held more UMDs but I still think that it is the best PSP 2000-3000 case out there right now and would strongly recommend this product.

This is a very good case. I droped it from about 9 feet and there was just a little damage. Its good because you can hold 2 umds in the case and if you keep one in your psp thats 3.

I bought this product just a few days after purchasing my PSP and I am very pleased. The interior of the case is lined with a soft rubber foam which the PSP firmly rests in. There is a clear plastic screen cover that doubles as a latch to keep the system in place,so you can play without taking it out. It also firmly stores two UMD's and two memory sticks. When the case is open the lid can double as a stand for watching movies, and the rubber grips keep it stationary. There are cut-outs for the shoulder buttons, power switch, DC in port, headphone/video out, and the wrist strap loop. The grips on the back make it comfortable while playing, and if you have bigger hands like myself, it makes holding the PSP much easier. It even has a cool window on the bottom to display the circular PSP logo. The only cons are that there is no access to the UMD door, so you'll have to take out the PSP everytime you want to change a UMD. Also, don't plan on sticking this in your pocket, unless you have big pockets, cause the case is about an inch and a half thick when closed. Would have been great if it were a bit cheaper since there are other kits out there that offer more accessories for less. But for the quality and simplicity of it, I'd gladly pay the same price again. Once again sony has designed another great product.
