Assassin's Creed
The first game in the Assassin's Creed franchise is set in 1191 AD, when the Third Crusade was tearing the Holy Land apart. Shrouded in secrecy and feared for their ruthlessness, the Assassins intend to stop the hostilities by suppressing both sides of the conflict. Players, assuming the role of the main character Altair, will have the power to throw their immediate environment into chaos and to shape events during this pivotal moment in history.

I have played all of the assassin's creed games. Start with assassin creed and play them all in order. Sense I finished Revelations, which is the last one. I haven't found another game yet that has held interest. I was playing the assassins games for 36 hours at a time, just to see where I was going next. The history of the time that is in every seen, if want to read and veiw is worth the price of the game. You can't go wrong buying and playing these 4 games. Be carefull, the templars are out and will get you.... P/S The very best Mid-Evil games I've ever played. And I have played alot of them!!!

Everybody loves assassins creed right? Well i guess so this is an alright games i still havent beat it but im pretty close i havent beat it because to me its kinda a slow paced game unless u are in a city doing a misson of some sort that why i gave it a 7 because it could be a little better but i would recommend the series to everybody.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
The storyline of the game is one of the far best I ever seen. It immediately pulls you in. The dialogue are so well written that their meanings makes you ponder throughout the game. The gameplay is fun to the extent it does becomes very repetitive. The vocals of the NPC kind of get annoying after hearing the same dialogues countless times, such as the ones for the beggars you run into the game. My favorite part of the game are the cut-scenes that always makes me jump up closer to the screen.
This is a fun game to comeback to after you play the sequels just to tie in all the storylines.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
I first played this back when it came out, and I enjoyed it. About a year ago, I rebought it in hopes of finishing it. A good game, graphics and combat are good for what it is. It's not the "best" of the series, as many will say that AC2 and up is better, but you can't compair games that are 6 years appart. The game started horrable for me, as you can't use "counter kill" until the after the first assassination? The side missions do help in the sequences, but are not fully required. You CAN kill civilians, granted it hurts you, but once you beat the game, you won't suffer that penalty. There are flaws (Oh no!) like you can't swim, or the fact that you leave the animus after each sequence, which was a turnoff after AC2 came out. Graphics aren't to bad, granted it IS an old game, so you can't go in thinking it's going to have AC3 graphics and be a perfect game. It's a great starter in the series, and I do recomend it if you never played the series, or just want to kill time and templars.

Assassin's Creed was not only the first game series I wanted to play all day long, it was a game series that just had an outstanding story. The Assassin's Creed series is tied with the Uncharted Series and Arkham Series for my favorite series of all time. This game is great and starts off the amazing story. Although this is my least favorite out all the Assassin's Creed games it still deserves a 10/10. If for some crazy reason you don't like this game still play the others because each one has more weapons and adds to the story. Overall an outstanding game.

If you have not played this game, you are missing a load of information! This is the main part to the storyline of Assassins Creed and in order to understand everything, you really need to play this. Other than the storyline though, this game is awesome, challenging, and entertaining. The sound quality is kind of low on it I have noticed when playing through Turtle Beach, but when playing through the T.V. it is fine. Overall, it is a awesome game and you really need to get it!

Assassin's Creed has proven itself to be on of the greatest franchises in video game history, and this is the game that started it all. Millions of people have taken the leap and experienced all that this game and it's sequels have to offer, and they were not disappointed. If you are on edge about getting this game having not yet played it, take my advice and go buy it now. The franchise is one of the most popular action/adventure games of all time and while this game does not feature the unique multiplayer experience of Assassins Creed, it does give you one of the greatest single player campaigns in the entire series. The graphics on this game are amazing, especially for the year this game came out. Taking place in the middle east the game truly brings you into each individual city that you go and explore, and even your trips across the plains the mountains, sky, and grass all come in with great clarity and they really help you dive into the timezone. The sound and voice acting on this game are fine tuned and don't take away from the story but instead pull you in and consume you. If the quality of the game isn't enough you should know that the individual campaign is one of the greatest story's we have seen in game history, and one of the best in this franchise. The campaign gives you a fun, engaging experience learning the story of one of the first master Assassins; the manner of which you gain information on your target and plan you kill is also the best the series has seen. In this game you go around doing little missions all building up to this one big kill, and for every assassination you learn ways to sneak in and take out the target without any guard notice and this is something lost later in the series. Gameplay is great, fluid, and addictive and after buying this game it will be hard to put the controller down until you beat it. Overall this game was a great playthrough and the games only get better after it; if you haven't yet get and play this game it provides one of the best single player campaigns of the series and should be played by anyone looking to buy the new games.

Assassin's Creed is a game set in 1191, at the height of the Third Crusade. Secretly another war is being fought where a group is interested in control and power and the group of assassins that are fighting against them, who want to protect the chaotic freedoms of humanity. This sets up one of the most intriguing storylines to grace the gaming landscape. Assassin's Creed isn't perfect but it's the beginning of an amazing tale that spans centuries. You control an arrogant but deadly Assassin, Altair Ibn La'Had in the fight against the Knights Templar. Altair is capable of many things such as parkour or freeruning, which allows him to climb any building or structure. This can be used for a fast way of travel via rooftops or as an escape option from city guards. When escaping from guards, Altair can hide after the guards line of sight has been broken. He can jump into bales of high, rooftop gardens, sit on a bench, or blend with a group of passing scholars. He is also a very capable fighter that expertly wields swords and other blades, can throw knives to take down opponents silently from afar and can use his hidden blade, the Assassin's weapon of choice to take down enemies when running isn't an option. The swordplay and freeruning animation are easily the best on the market, as every movement is fluid and looks very realistic. The kill animations are brutal and very satisfying, giving you the want for more. The mission structure is very linear, kill nine targets and to do this Altair must first investigate his target by eavesdropping on conversations, beating up an individual until they talk, etc. These missions do tend to get repeative to some people, but for me, I thought they were quite enjoyable. When going after your targets, you visit three cities of interest; Jerusalem, Acre, and Damascus. Each city is different and gives the player different and a beautiful change in scenery. With that said, take a leap of faith and buy this game and invest in the Assassin's Creed franchise, you will not be disappointed.
