Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia

Four friends get together for a party while the parents are away, but somebody ... or something, is about to crash the party. In four-player melee action, you will fight off the monster invasion in this top-down action/shooting game. Customize and build your own weapons by grabbing parts from the house and town to create more powerful attack tools, and find rare parts to build some ultimate weapons. Jack abandoned vehicles and deck them out with weapons to ride through the terrain and take out creatures. Visit five locations, including the suburban town, the high school, and the "Shopping Maul." The use of the Ageia NovodeX Physics platform allows you to interact with the environments physics to give yourself an advantage, such as creating barrides or throwing large objects, while the visual system uses the advanced Unreal 3 Engine.

since as far as i know im the only person to write a review and probably the only person to get it and the reason why its that it is HORRIBLE!!!! I spent the first 3 hours of the game going through odd areas of a town with looked horrible and mixed with the 4 odd sterotypical people, horrible characters to begin with, and have them say the stupidest quotes to things that didnt really make since. I didnt even finish the game! save your money! and go to the movie that you hate the most that is still in theaters and you will still be happier than if you got this game. I sould probably give you a good description of what the beginning of the game is like, you select your charact one of 4 very bad characters and walk through a town meeting with odd people to help with your effort like getting upgrades for your weapon (which is anything around you). The weapon system seems like it was ripped from dead rising and they messed it up the best they could, you can pick up anything that you can carry. This review might seem a bit harsh but it is a compliment compared to what the game has instore for you if you buy it.

This is an odd game. The controls are iffy, the physics are loopy, the camera is just plain awful (especially in Co-Op), the graphics are significantly bad, and the voice acting is PAINFUL TO HEAR. But, if you can deal with these issues and just play the game it can be fun and it's actually rather challenging (partially due to all the issues). It's a hack'n'slash cartoon adventure that makes little to no sense, but I feel like fans of the genre can really appreciate the gameplay and the difficulty. Plus with friends that have a sense of humor, you can turn the problems in the game around and just laugh and laugh at them!
