Wii Remote Charger
PostedJune 12, 2009
Well this product is actually a good item it functions good also it does last very long so when I go to sleep and when I wake back up its fully charged and most likely able to use all day so no batteries its just a good product I dont know why it doesnt come with the Wii.But ot does have a good grip but it feels sort of weird and it is not white its a weird looking gray rubber thing with a charger slot on it.It is very little so it could fit anywhere in your house and it does actually look good in your house in my opinion.so its the charger it self is a 10 because it looks pretty good but the batteries you put on the controller is weird looking mostly because of the color but the grip is good do Igive the batteries a 7 so this is a awesome product and I enjoy it because I dont have to buy batteries any more!!!!

Useful but has a short life
PostedFebruary 13, 2009
I bought these battery packs and the charger for my wiimotes at least a year ago and now the batteries can't hold a charge for very long. It is very annoying because they just randomly die when you are playing. It is a little difficult to fit them on the charger so they contact and the color coding for whether it is charged or not is confusing. I know it is way cheaper than buying regular batteries but you will eventually have to buy new ones unless you want to charge it every half hour or so. It gets really annoying especially with Guitar Hero because I mostly just keep the remotes in the guitars and I have to take them out a lot. I hope there is something out there that lasts longer than this. If you plan on using these for a long time go with something else.

Impressed

I first bought the Energizer one and didn't like it one bit, the covers wouldn't close properly so I quickly returned it. Then I bought this charger unit. I plan on getting a 2nd one for my other two controllers in the near future. The covers close easily, it sits well in the cradle to charge, easy to understand, no fuss, no muss if you ask me. Nice added feature is that they put a grip type deal on the battery cover, which I find adds a nice touch, as to where with the original cover, it was smooth, which isn't a bad thing either. And with the battery and cover it still fits nicely into accessories, such as the Wii Wheel, bat, tennis racket, zapper. Even when I bought it, I told the guy to cut the package open seeing I had the problem with the energizer charging pack. And when the guy showed that it fit well into a Wii controller I was happy from the start. The charging takes a few hours, but can you really complain? I cant, with the money I'll save on batteries, I cant complain at all. I would recommend this to anyone that asks.

Wii charge station
PostedJanuary 6, 2009
When I first got the Wii console, I only had a few controllers, so I didn't have to worry about them sucking up batteries that much. But soon after that I had 4 controllers that used about a pack of batteries a week. It was very expensive and tedious to keep changing the batteries. With the charge station, I can just put them on the charger when I'm done. I only have the double one, not the quadruple, so only two of my controllers can charge at a time, but it works great. No more batteries to buy and change! My only complaint about this is that sometimes you have to mess with it a little to get it to charge. Sometimes I've had to take my wrist strap off of the controller to get it to charge. But, if you get it to start charging, it usually is fully charged the next time I want to play my Wii. I don't have the Wiimote skins so I don't have to worry about taking the skins off every time. I did have one cover for one wiimote but I ended up just taking it off. I still have the cover on the nunchuck so at least I can still use that. Overall, I think this is a very good product that serves it's purpose. It saves you a lot of money in the end.
