Great Game For The Price
PostedJanuary 18, 2010
I bought this game after seeing a 6.0 rating on IGN, hoping that I would enjoy it more than IGN did. I am very happy to say that this game was totally worth my money and deserves a much better rating than just a 6.0. I started this game with mediocre hopes that it would be good, and thankfully I was blessed. The graphics are great for a PSP game, with great detail on the weaponry and environments. The level variety is great, it goes from a dense tropical forest to a remote city in the wilderness. The objectives are cool, and I particularly enjoyed it when I got to bomb an enemy helicopter and watch it fall to the ground and explode in a mass of colors. The levels aren't too long, and aren't to short either. The storyline is pretty simple, but it lets you focus on the fighting instead of spending the entire game trying to figure out the plot. Overall, this game is great and deserves plenty of praise for all the awesome action packed inside it.

amazing!!

When I got this game, i thought this would be a one day, no challenge shooter. I WAS WRONG. Some of the levels took me days to beat. The story was good too. The one thing i didnt like about it was the lone-wolf status. The enemies were responsive and smart. They will move behind cover and act like a normal soldier. I was impresed with the graphics. the only downside is when you face an explosion and shoot. The fire from the gun is in the black rectangle and it slows the game down too. the people were not blocky (if thats a word) and they were fluid movements. The sound was nice. the gunshots, the enviornment, everything. Except that the enemies yell all of 2 or 3 phrases. This was a great game and i was impresed. With a few downsides, this was amazing!!

A great game!

I bought this game a few weeks ago and did not expect much from it. I read reviews about it and thought it was just going to be another "thrown together" shooter game. I was way wrong,! This game is very entertaining. I can put hours into it at one time! The controls are akward at first, if used to playing PSP games like Ratchet and Clank:Size Matters, but you get used to them very fast. I believe that this game has a challenging storyline as well. There are several sections of the game that took me days to beat. If this game lacks anything it is a good wi-fi based multiplayer. With other games, such as Ratchet and Clank:Size Matters there is a multiplayer option. Don't get me wrong there is multiplayer, but the only option is co-op campaign. I would like to see more death match games similar to the console versions in future titles. Overall this game met the expectations I set and will definitely meet yours.

I bought this just a little while ago and I think its awesome. Sound is nice, you get a real nice gunshot sound. The enemy responds to the sound witch I always like as it makes the game a tad more challenging. Its pretty easy if you have played games like Medal of Honor or Call of Duty, unless you chose a control scheme that is different. All in all I say it was a great game. (if you have any difficulty playing, read on) just change the difficulty. You can go to settings on the home page of the game and change it. I have mine set to difficulty:Hard, View: FPS (first person, easier to aim if you ask me), and the inverted view (up is down, left is right, etc). I also use the control scheme B. Just practice in the training area, take your time go through all the motions until you have them memorized and then play the game on easy a couple times.
