So I wanted to give my mom something for Christmas and found this amazing refurb Wii system for 79.99. I was skeptical from the get go but decided to buy anyways. I bought also two used games with this console. Why not new? (I'm not cheap but i wasn't sure how she's going to like it so...) The box arrived on exact time as i tracked it on the ups page. The box was inside another box and it actually looks decent. It has the gamestop logo and it clearly states that is a refurb. I open it dreading the worst but for my surprise everything they offered was there, bubble wrapped and all. The console looks like new and it came with the sensor bar, remote and nunchuck, audio cable and a/c cable. Everything works fine and the games came in a paper sleve but inside the actual game case. Also a paper instruction on how to set it up (and some batteries for the remote) If it would have come in the original box i would have believed it was new... Excellent work GameStop!

the wii is the worst big system ever. I liked it at first but than it got dumb. No good games. i wet to get this the day it cameout so i woke up at 3;00 in the morning. it was a waste of time. dont buy it

Got it for christmas for my kids plugged it in to make sure it worked and to update it. Works good they have games on the store I grew up playing super mario bros...My only advice is go to the store make them open it first because the one they first brought out looked like someone took a razorblade to it the second had a generic remote but the console was in excellent shape so they switched me the real nintendo remote out of the scratched console. I refuse to buy a console that has a remote that isn't original to the system seeing that when i traded in my xbox they made me trade in my generic remote and buy a brand new 360 remote. I love gamestop but they really need to teach their employees to check stuff and reject more trade-ins. Oh yea and never buy a swirly refurbished game.

I recently ordered this wii...I got it two days ago and the problems began as soon as I plugged it in.First it would just shut off if I tried to connect it to the internet...Then when I reset the system back to factory settings to see if that would help.It worked for 10 mins after that and shut off again.I kept trying to turn it on and as soon as it would come on it shut right back off.I dont think they really check their systems that well before they ship them back out.now I have to send it back and wait on my refund to buy a new one so I can play the wii games that I bought for it >:(
