I got my PS3 originally in February 2007 and I have had nothing but good things to say about this console. First, the graphics are the best on this system even more than Xbox 360 (and I love my 360), it has backwards compatiblity so you can play PS1 and PS2 games unlike the newer models and has never given me any problems in all the five years I have owned one. Heck, the power going out in the middle of a game I was playing didn't damage the PS3, just gave me a warning that's all! The system is well-made and can take anything as well so I am glad I got the PS3 and especially this particular model. My only regret is that I had to spend $600 plus for the system plus another $60 for Resistance: Fall of Man (which is a really good game!) when I could've waited for the price to go down. But that's ok, it is worth it.

I HAVE HAD THIS SYSTEM SINCE IT FIRST CAME OUT, IN FACT WHILE OTHER WERE WAITING IN LINE MINE WAS DELIVERED ( WE ALL KNOW HOW DANGEROUS THOSE LINES GET). I NEVER HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS SYSTEM I PLAY IT NON-STOP ALMOST EVERYDAY AND ONCE OR TWICE A WEEK I WOULD LEAVE IT ON OVER NITE I PUT I 500gig HARD DRIVE A WEEK AFTER I GOT IT. NO Y EYE OR PROBLEMS YET I KEEP IT WELL VENTILATED IN MY WINDOW AND THE FAN ALMOST NEVER RUNS HIGH. MY ONLY PROBLEM IS A SYSTEM BUILT FOR WEB ACCESS HAS A FLAW ON THE WEB IT FREEZES SOMETIMES OR MAYBE JUST WHEN U VISIT TO MANY PAGES AND U GOT TO RESTART UR SYSTEM THE INCORRECT WAY BUT OTHER THAN THAT, PS3 IS UNMATCHED. P.S. I ALSO HAVE 2 OTHER MODELS THAT ARE THE SLIM JUST IN CASE CAUSE I THINK MY LIFE SPAN FOR THIS SYSTEM HAS PASSED, LOL! GREAT SYSTEM SONY KEEP IT UP.

it worked prefect plays ps1, ps2 and ps3 i can play all the classics plus this ps3 has memory slots,4usb ports and it has free multiplayer unlike xbox which charges 24 bucks a month with no free stuff. this system does have some flaws like games that dont download to the hard drive make the fan go super loud and may cause ylod but you can just put it in a welll ventilated area.other than that this ps3 is the best for gamers with ps2 games and memory cards like sd.

* This pre-owned product is guaranteed to work and may not include an instruction manual or original box. This was not the case for mine after replaceing one that got the YLOD in the first 3-4 days of getting it i got the 60gb and it didn't work right out of the box
