I'm very happy about the PS3 60GB! It works great! Now I can play PS1, PS2, and get new cool looking PS3 games!

the price is a little high for me because i don't have a high paying job but i am glad after 2 years of saving i was able to get it i love this machine, the graphics and runs great only 2 issues witch i don't care about the fan is pretty loud and the vents air is extremely hot so you got to be carful where you put it next thing is i have a week internet connection so the online gameplay doesn't work very well )= too bad but i do recommend this to EVERYONE the games are really pricy but its worth it.

60 GB PS3 YLOD after purchse

The following review is from the experience I had with buying the 60GB PS3 from our local store and not the product itself. I bought this for my 13 yo daughter so she could player her PS2 and PS3 games she wanted to get. I found one of the rare 60GB units in my local Game stop. I went there and bought it, brought it home, hooked it up to her television. When I powered it up, it made a click sound and YLOD. Called game stop they said that we could bring it back and wait for another to come in or get another model. I wanted to get the backwards compatible unit. I found another one online approximately 70 miles away. I had to drive and switch out the unit. To my surprise the store associate told me that the one we had bought was not a refurbished one and that when they receive one they are to send them off to be checked before selling. The second one worked and is still working perfectly just like my original 20GB model I bought at launch of the PS3.
