Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure

Gurumin immerses gamers in a vivid fantasy world filled with a colorful cast of characters. Real-time combat and stunning 3D graphics combine with a spirited soundtrack to make Gurumin a fast-paced, immersive, magical adventure.Gurumin stars a strong-willed girl named Parin, who is sent to live with her grandfather in a small mining town while her parents are off excavating an ancient ruin. With no other children living in this town, Parin is surprised one day to encounter a young girl being tormented by a stray dog. After Parin drives off the mongrel, she is shocked to discover the young girl is actually a monster, and like all monsters, invisible to adults. Parin is soon invited to pass through a crack in the wall behind her home and enter Monster Village. Parin has just started making monster friends when evil spirits, known as the Phantoms, invade the village and monsternap most of the inhabitants. Parin soon learns of the Legendary Drill, a weapon hidden underneath the village and, in the right hands, powerful enough to destroy the Phantoms. Thus begins Parin's quest to reclaim the Legendary Drill and set the world right.

This is a great game! I liked it the moment I bought it. You play as Parin (or you can choose another name for her), a girl who is sent to live with her grandfather because her parents are out looking for adventures. When she arrives at her grandfather's house, she finds that there aren't any other kids that live there, but she does befriend a small group of "Monsters" who are very friendly and are trying to rebuild their home, which was destroyed. That said, Parin then goes on all sorts of adventures with her new friends while they all try to restore peace and rebuild their home. She fights off enemies with the Legendary drill, she learns new moves throughout the game, there are many items to collect, and after you finish the game-you can unlock many new and cool things. Some of the things you can also do are : play mini games with some of the friendly monsters and they'll give cool new items. Collect large or small amounts of money (depending on what you want to purchase) and buy cool outfits or other items for yourself at the shop. Also, depending on what month it is, you can sometimes find that a new outfit is available for you to wear. This is actually a very entertaining game. I, at least, never got bored and am still not. The graphics of this game are actually pretty good for the PSP and its length is just right. I finished the game once, on easy mode, and I never got bored. I am now trying to beat it in normal mode. You can also beat it in more modes after doing it in normal mode, which allows to unlock many more new things.

This game is perfect for: kid gamers
This is a really great fun Game, Your typical Japanese kid-like anime games, but in a Dungeon Crawly/Adventure type genre. It's kinda like a upgraded version of the N64 Legend of Zelda series. Really fun, humorous and perfect for all ages. If you like the Zelda series, or those Kid-Like games such as, Ratchet & Clank or Jak and Daxter, Then I recommend getting it. Plus the addition to how much it's worth gives it more of the awesomness added to it.

I loved this soo much. The characters and the monsters you see when you wander away from town. The levels were great too and the all powerful drill was fun. The sounds and music that played was great and made the experience worthwhile.

I bought this game at Gamestop and havent been able to put it down, THis Game is addictive and the storyline is very well made. When the characters talk I actually feel like they are the real thing. they show emotion in their voices and even theyre expressions. This game is well put together and in my opinion a must have for the price its a total steal and has such a lasting appeal that will have you not wanting to put the game down

This game is one of the few reasons I keep my PSP around and haven't traded it in. It is amazing! It has a terribly cute story line and the weapons and clothing are ADORABLE. My ex boyfriend took my first copy from me and it was well worth the second purchase :)
