This is about Kratos. I'm about to explain this story. BEFORE HE WAGED WAR ON THE GODS... HE WAS FORCED TO SERVE THEM. The ancient world speaks of a mortal that slayed a God. But long before his battle with Ares, Kratos sought absolution from his past sins by pledging himself as a champion to the Gods. These brutal crusades in the name of Olympus became legendary. The Ghost of Sparta is now ordered by the Gods to journey the underworld, after the world plunges into darkness. There he must face the most feared creatures of Greek Mythology and forced to choose between his own personal redemption and saving the ancient world from certain destruction. this game is totally awesome its a lot better than dante's inferno.ITS THE best game on psp.

A must-play for God of War fans!

If you are a God of War fan, you HAVE to get this game! It has a great addition to the God of War series! It answered many questions, yet it left a few opened. Such as with Atlas, Persephone, and how it explains more about Kratos and his daughter. The overall challenge has good. It wasn't to hard, but not to easy. The Challenges of Hades were nice, and God mode wasn't "OMG!!!! THIS IS SO IMPOSSIBLE, NO LIVING PERSON CAN DO THIS!!!" kind of hard. (Not saying that the other God of War games on God mode is like that.) The ONLY thing that I don't like, is the game is WAY to short. I was disappointed when I finished the game in 3 hours. But, it was the only thing that was wrong with it. Basically, it made you want to play the other God of Wars. (Whether for the first time, or again!) It was a great game. Period. Ready at Dawn studios should be proud.

Great game, but there's a downside to it

Honestly I like the game a lot but the thing is the length of the game is really small. I got the game and I beat it in one day on Spartan mode. (You have to beat it once to unlock God mode) There's only like 3 or 4 bosses. But overall I think the game is okay. I like the storyline it really cleared up my mind because some things in the other God of War. The graphics were exquisite great for PSP. I was thinking that why couldn't all PSP games be like this. So because of this game i am going to buy Dante's Inferno I heard it's almost exactly like God of War in the combat system, also i am getting God of War Ghost of Sparta . So for the price I would recommend it in some ways and not in other ways. So have a good time playing this game or not.

Speechless simply speechless

Let me start off by saying I a bought a psp for Chains of Olympus and I was not disappointed. It's awesome. I became a God of War fan pretty late(about a month and a half before GOW3 came out). I played through God of War 1,2&3 and there were some parts in the storyline that confused me a little. My friend said that Chains of Olympus would take away all of my confusion. So 3 days ago I bought a psp and Chains of Olympus and .......I'm speechless. I couldn't put it down. It makes sense of all the scenes in GOW 2&3 that confused me. It fits in perfectly with all other GOW games. The writers at Santa Monica Studios are freakin geniuses. Not only that but the graphics r eye candy. This is my first psp game so I can't compare the graphics to other games but it's amazing. I was always leery about the screen being too small on the psp, making it hard to see all the obstacles in a game. I was SO wrong. It's crystal! The sound is loud and crisp, perfect for when ur in the mood to rip monsters apart. The creators of the game did a good job with the controls even with the lack of buttons that are on regular Playstation controller. The game should have been longer but the replay value makes up for that. God of War is the best franchise to ever bless Sony. My wife, who's not a gamer at all, loves GOW. If u have a psp and u don't have Chains of Olympus the "DO AS YOUR GOD COMMANDS" and get it. Even if u don't have a psp get it and play this game. It's the perfect game to release all ur anger and frustration. Instead of squeezing a stress ball or being yoga rip a cyclopes's eye out! Dantes Inferno, have fun living in the shadow of Kratos. I can not WAIT for Ghost of Sparta!
