God of War 2 packed into 4 inches of intesity.

I was never a God of War fan until my friend kept on talking about God of War 2 until I bought this game for the PSP and this game was one of the best games that I've ever played. The game starts with you trying to defend the city getting infiltrated by Persians and their Basilisk. You start advancing through the city and fight the Persian lord and end up killing him. You'd think that that part of the story is over, but you advance more through the city to find out you have to fight the Basilisk which dwarfs you in size. After the fight the story gets more intense and adds some puzzles, but it drift a little away from the main story line. The graphics on this game are just stunning; the detail put into it just makes stare and awe. Through out the story you'll see some little clips that are just as stunning as the PS2 graphics and leaves you thinking how did they make such detail onto a hand held system with 4 inches of screen. For me the sound is crisp and clear; for more intensity just use your headset. The sound makes you feel as if you were inside the game and adds intensity into the moment. The controls are fairly simple and still has the same concept from the God of War 2, but with some minor, adjustable changes. I beat the game in two or three days but it was well worth it, after you beat it you still have exciting but difficult challenges and some little bonuses like changing Kratos' (main character) clothes into a potato and... I'll let you find out the other bonuses.

GREAT game but NOT WITHOUT FLAWS.

This game, by the latest PSP standards, is a really advanced game for the PSP. Large levels and dazzling graphics are an excellent source of fun on the psp. Kratos is always fun to play with and the introduction to new weapons like the Gauntlet of Zeus and Demon's Rage is always neat. This game plays almost exactly like God of War on Ps2 except is smaller and slight control differences. Graphics are great. HOWEVER, there are some NOT SO GREAT things as well. The game is most unpleasantly short (Only about 5 hours) and you can finish it in no time. The enemies, although cool, can be a little repetitive and some of the challenges are very, very unfair and frustrating. The puzzles are not tough but some of the checkpoints do you wrong when you have half health and no magic. The game worlds are large, beautiful, detailed and epic, and the storyline is good, but some plot points are completely unfinished left incomplete. What happens to Morpheus? Where is he? How does Helios return? Does he? Why is the last boss only seen in the last few minutes of game? Despite these fairly daunting shortcomings, looking at other PSP games.... makes me want to recommend this really bad. As far as PSP games go, this is one of the best easily and if you like god of war and kratos this will be fun naturally. I recommend it for the cool experience and entertainment, although it will not last long unless you enjoy constant replays. God of War, but smaller, essentially.

I like the video game God of War: Chains of Olympus because it kept me playing. I beat this game in two days all by myself. It got comfusing at times but that's all part of the game. Everyone with a PSP should but this game and lay off of those other boring games. Kratos is the best fighter. I hope they make another part to this game because I would definitely buy it! i bought his game on Sunday at Jersey Gardens Mall and I'm very hooked on it. I was playing this game everyday because I bought the entertainment pack from FYE. This PSP is light and red with Kratos' picture on the back of it. The entertainment pack also came with the movie Superbad. God of War: Chains of Olympus is officially my favorite game that i own right now. Who ever made this did a banging job!

Amazing game

I have played god of war before and I am a huge fan of the series. This game is no let down. RAD really overdid themselves here. Th story is awesome. I game play is fun. Kill every greek creature in the room and move on to a puzzle that will make you think a little. I could not ask for anything better. The game definitely is a must buy for any psp owner. The boss battles are amazing and you defiantly get the sense of kicking someone's ass when playing. My only gripe with this game is that the magic you get is a little hard to activate. Sometimes I would even forget which buttons activate the shield or the fire, but its all good. The greek monsters are just awesome to fight let alone look at. Even the minotaurs look much better than the original GoW. I don't think there is a better actin game for the psp.
