I went nuts over this game, being a fan of both God of War 1 & 2. I knew this game would be fun and it is. the only major thing I hate this game for is that it is stupidly short and easy. Other than that it is freakin awesome! you get all kinds of new weapons and magical items like the Gauntlet of Zeus, the Light of Dawn, Charons Wrath and of course the Blades of Chaos. For those of you who don't know this game takes place before the first God of War, so tecnically this is the first. the upgrading system is exactly the same as GOW 1 & 2. Another cool thing is your ability to destroy almost anything to access secret areas and get cool extras. The story is about Kratos, still a slave of the Gods, journey to defeat Persephone (wife of Hades) and Atlas from plunging the world into total darkness and bring the sun god Helios back to the surface to defeat the evil god Morpheaus.

God of War for psp is a decent game. But it is god of war and this game got me into the ps2 versions. My only complaint is that this game is short and is very easy. The only challenge in this game is the final boss in very hard difficulty. But other than this,god of war chains of Olympus is a great game with good graphics, controls, and sound and to me this game is hard to let go and I am not going to trade this game in anytime soon. If you're looking for a bad@$$ game this game is it and I'm glad they made this for Psp because this is one of the greatest games to grace the psp and without it I wouldn't have God of War 1 & 2 in my room. Buy this game and then thank me later when you realize that it is one of the greatest games you have ever played.

Best GAME for PSP!!

For starters, I would like to say I am a new God Of War fan. I bought the God of War PSP bundle and thus got this game. First of all this is a game that is HIGHLY recommended for all those PSP owners. The graphics are so amazing it makes you wish that each PSP game was this amazing! Second, the game play and action in this game is amazing. There is something to do something to kill and something to move. It was great! Although the storyline is very strong the game play is very short in my opinion. I took my time with this game and I succeeded in passing the game in two days. That is how short this game is! Apart from it being too short everything else is at an amazing standard that you still love the game and will play it over again! Last words, it is a GREAT game all round, and even though it's short it will deliver an amazing game experience!

I must say that this is the best game for the PSP. The story mode however is a bit short. On average it is 4 1/2-5 1/2 hours long. But the graphics and fighting make up for everything. These are the most crisp and clear graphics on the PSP. The fighting is unbelievable, you kill one creature and here comes another, and they get tougher and tougher each time. But that's just me I'm on God Mode. But there is just one major downfall..... there are a few glitches. My game has frozen on me 2 times!! But what can I say? This is a game for anyone; except little kids.... Too much violence and nudity! If you can't get this game now, get it for your b-day or Christmas (or Hanukah). But all in all I would give it a ten straight down the boards..but there was too short of a story, and a few glitches. But this is the must get PSP game of the year 2008.
