Once you start playing you will not want to stop. let me start off by saing better graphics don't make a better game. This game might not have the graphics that most of us expect today, but the gameplay of the game is better than most of the new games for the next gen consoles out today. If I were given a choice of two games to play, one of them being this, and one of them being the campaign of any of the halo games or gears of war, I would definietly choose metropolismaina. The only reason I would do this is because you just get more out of playing metropolismaina. you could just keep playing it where with any of the halo games or gears of war you will probably finsih the campagin within a week . If you are at an ebgames store and see this or even just the first metropolismania, be sure to pick it up. I promise your won't be disapointed

the game is good, but gets hard as the challenge changes. Somewhat repetetive (Same for the sound). It's a good game, but as far as city building goes, it's highly dependent on making friends and getting connections. Gameplay is fairly simple, the graphics are good for a PS2 game, but you'll end up seeing a lot of the same character models. Some connections will be hard to get and you can't build whatever zone you want, you have to find certain people with the right connections to get the building the people are asking for, which sucks if your citizens want police officers or office worker household. Overall it's a good game, if you like city building simulations, this is definately different from the typical building games where you do nothing but watch the town from up high. You interact with people (but even that gets repetitive). The sound in the game will also be repetitive and there is NO OPTION to turn the sound off. Although if you get a music store, you can get new music. It's a good game, try it once and you can see why.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
I've never played the first one and bought this game a few years ago. I still play it off and on. It's a game you can always keep coming back to.
I really enjoy the hidden factors of the game that the instruction book never even hints about! The customizing of the character, the maps, and challenges makes the game play change. Even if you restart your game over and over it never plays the same way twice.
The only problem I've had with it is the music, *spoiler-->* if you go to a music shop and buy some, it's not too bad. But the music gets a bit annoying and the game play is very repetitive, but I keep going back to it. Awesome game!

Will they make more buildings this time, instead of getting rid of all the buildings in Metropolismania 1 I think they should keep those and add new ones so there is a lot of buildings cause sometimes it looks weird to have so much of the same stuff.

I've always liked Metropolismania, and I really hope Metropolismania 2 will be even better!! I just wish they would release some sort of information about it. Well they can't hold the info forever, so we'll find out eventually!!

MetropolisFAN!
The first game was so great!!! I saw the sequel in Japan last year and figured it would never come out because it had too many licensed stores (Pizza Hut, etc. etc.) Hopefully Crave didn't remove the licensed stores and shops, but regardless I'm going to buy this. It's like the Sims meets Animal Crossing. Such a great game!!
