I like this game at the start, but then the challenge and fun faded away like dust. I like the PS3 version way better, I rated that 10/10. But this is strangely dumb. You fight good spiderman villains at least: New Goblin Venom, Sandman, Kraven, Lizard, Shriek, Morbious, and gang members. But on PS3 you get those guys and Kingpin, Scorpion, and Rhino. The graphics aren't too good, when someone's talking their mouth wouldn't even move at all and their shadows are just little circles on the ground. If I were you, get it on the PS3 or XBOX 360, or if needed, the WII is great too. P.S., the length isn't bad at all: Takes you from hours to days to complete, and the black suit is fun to be sometimes, but still get it on another game system.

i do recommend this game to others because it has all of the fun people would like. of course people shouldnt judge a game of the way it looks i mean look at spiderman 2! the people look all buldgey and block headed but people still loved it. the controls are ok but not great. all you have to do is mash buttons and your good by the way theres way to many combos. Its storyline is ok but its to hard to follow none of the cutscenes mix together not even if you try trust me i tried and it gave me a headache!!! The sound is good because you can actually tell apart all the different races unlike spiderman 2 where it sounded like every skin color sounded like they were caucasion. Its long enough not to keep you bored but not to long to get you tired of this game. And it takes way to long for you to get the black suit but for some people its worth the wait. overall its a good game and its amazing so i definetly recommend it if you truely love spide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frustrating, it's just one of the good words that describe this game. The movie is good but the game is bad. The reason I rated it so low is because it's boring. The graphics are good, but the people in the epilogues look like Robot Chicken a little. Spider-Man 3 has 55 flaws (I counted them). Using the black-suited Spider-Man is the only good thing about the game. But if you over use it you kinda die. And you can't keep hitting the dead bodies like in Spider-Man 2. This is the worst of the Spider-Man movie franchise ever. Even Spider-Man 1, 2, 3 for the GBA are better than this monstrosity. It takes about 2 days to beat. It's not entertaining and not fun. Spider-Man the 1st is even better than this one. They even changed how Venom and Sandman became allies. In the movie Venom asks Sandman to become allies and Sandman accepts for a reason I can't remember, but in the game Venom has Sandman's daughter as a hostage.
There are good things about this game and there are bad things. First, the story line is very similar to the movie, but the movie part of the storyline is really short. the cut scenes are extremely cool and well done! there are tons of villains in this game like Kraven, Lizard, Morbius, and of course Venom and Sandman. the environment is so big and beautiful that it reflects an actual New York City. the real pain is collecting all of those fifty stupid spider tokens to get the black suit. the graphics overall are cool to look at and keep you interested, however after you beat the game all thats left to do is bust up the rest of the remaining gangs and after a while becomes kinda repetitive a boring. Don't get me wrong I love the web head I just think he could've made this game better.
