Sonic Rivals 2 is a action packed 1 on 1 rival Racing, battling, ring snatching, Chao capturing game. 4 different stories, 8 characters and 12 stages and 6 boss battles, this is on sonic title you can't miss.
why did ign give this a 6/10? in my opinion, sonic rivals is excellent! there is now capture the chao, battle, and a lot more that thrills me! the boss battles are back, but in a more exciting way! Finally, Metal sonic is involved with the story (see my sonic rivals 1 review if you're confused) and the story mode's longer! yay!!and cards are no longer randomly obtained. the challenge you accomplish gives you a certain card. like i said before, more characters to play as = more time spent in story mode. This also includes a free play mode where you can find chao. sound got a major update. Finally, they included a theme song (Race to Win) for once. and it also plays in zone 1 act 1. IGN and other critics must not have liked this or something; either way, i totally disagree with them!

This Game is so freaking awesome. It has excellent Graphics, a more than SONIC-AL worth Storymode along with a variety of Multiplayer modes. You can collect over 100 collectable cards that unlock cool stuff such as game modes, medals, and character outfits. In Story mode, you choose to play with different teams of characters. Each team has an overall percentage of the story progress of each character. My Favorite team is Sonic and Tails. Something I like is to change a character's costume, like for example Espio's Ninja Costume or Shadow's 80's Costume. Even if you are not a Sonic Fan, If you like racing, adventure, or either action, this IS your game.
