Great Game!!!
PostedAugust 21, 2009
I just got this game recently, but im already addicted! DBZ is my favourite anime and this game lived up to my expectations. The last DBZ game i played was budokai tenkaichi 1 and that was great too. The challenge in this game was good, although I beat it just four or five hours. The controls were easy to use and simple, so I didn't have trouble mastering the attacks. The interface was understandable and didn't have just words but also had charaters explaining everything in the background. The special moves were stylish and worked well with the characters and the style of play. The characters were easy to unlock. The character balance was great, as all the were powerful in their own way. The graphics were great and the sopund was alright, but i wish that they had used the music from the DBZ movies. The storyline was alright but they slipped important battles like ultimate gohan vs super buu and gotenks vs super buu. Another pro about tis game is that the the arenas are huge and it is easy to maneuver. The only thing i didn't like about this game was that the story mode was short, unlike the story mode in tenkaichi 1. Overall, this is a great game and i recommend it for any fans of DBZ or fighting games.

This game is great! Yes at the start the controls were a bit challenging but after 2 weeks or so you'll get the hang of it. If you have the previous game number 2 you automatically achieve the characters that u did in number 2. When I first received this game I went straight to story mode only to be easily defeated by Raditz. It took me a while but I finally recognized my mistake. If you seem to notice a pale icon that reads R3 become black press the button and you will ascend to the next part in the battle which is pretty interesting. For those who are wondering yes this story goes to Omega Shenron and then to a dragonball scenario. It also has a scenario where you fight the movie battles such as Turles Broly exc. In dueling you can have up to 5 characters on your team and can fuse 2 of them together. You can customize your characters collect the dragonballs through tournaments or scenarios. TIP: While completing all scenarios you still won't have all the characters, you get the rest through certain tournaments, also if your wondering about the ABC area that is for password characters that you could put cheats in for at the data center I think. HAPPY GAMING!

When I first bought this game I thought that it would be an average game, and it is awesome! With over 150 characters to play as I couldn't stop playing. The graphics were great, gameplay was awesome. The controls were hard at first but since I played it for a year it I got the hang of it finally. The giant battles are fun but I really dont like the unlockables. The tag team battles are long but good when you can do fusion. I really like how to transform from normal to super saiyan 3 I like how there are tag teams in story mode. The moves are great its like they have the same poses as the anime and manga. the way you unlock characters is dumb and boring super saiyan 4 gogeta is most likely the best character in the game and series. Well, long story short it is hard at first but easy in the end.

Scream loudly and save the world... AGAIN!
PostedDecember 14, 2008
This is a terrible game Im just gonna ay that up front, heck the entire series is joke! I mean all that screaming yelling is just obnoxious. The game doesn't even have anything what so ever to do with skill, Its basically just random button mashing which turns the game into a game a game chance rather than skill. And the special moves are just plain... Im trying to think of a better word than outdated... ah familiar. These guys have been using just about the same moves and attacks since DBZ Budokai 1. UPGRADE YOUR ATTACKS FOR THE LOVE OF MIKE! Well, thats pretty much my review. If you think I was a little harsh and wanna get it, be my guest. But I would suggest renting it before you make a commitment. All right well Im done here except for saying I pity those who wasted their money on this game.

The reason it is the same is because it is based on a TV show that is over.
