A Great Follow-Up on the PSP

I bought this game because I had an extra 5 bucks, and I am very pleased with it. I jumped right in and with a few control scheme adjustments, I found myself playing until my battery died. The campaign is great, like Battlefront 2 on the console, not like on the PSP Battlefront 2. You actually have objectives such as taking down AT-STs, capturing command posts, defeating an enemy hero, repairing turrets, and destroying/collecting data pads. I felt like I was playing the console version of Battlefront, not a PSP. The graphics however, did not impress me. I could tell what everything was, but the color quality was not as good as the PSP was meant for, and it was a little bland in some parts. I am not going to completely put down the graphics, because this is an older game. The instant action reminded me of the console, because you have a large variety of maps to play in. Instant action makes this game fun to play over and over again. What I don't like about this game though, are the heroes with lightsabers. The saber moves are completely terrible, and I felt as if the lightsaber was too heavy for the hero. When you push the button to attack, the saber just swings and stops, unlike in Battlefront 2 on PSP where the saber moves were quick and swift. Another thing is customization. You have the ability to choose certain weapons and features, without having to unlock them. This has never been seen on a Battlefront game, and I am pleased with it. If you want this game for lightsabers and graphics, then I would suggest sitting this one out. But if you want this game for an amazing campaign, great maps, and cool weapons, then you should buy it.
This was the first game I got for the PSP. It was a lot of fun. I loved the customizable classes and characters feature. It's too bad my PSP 2000 stopped working. Fortunately, I sent it back to get it repaired. Anyway, It was an excellent edition to Battlefront! High Recommendations!

Great BattleFront Title

Bottom line: great game. The graphics are decent and it is for the psp so the graphics won't be the best. The story is actually decent for a BattleFront game. You are part of the renegade squadron, a mismatch group of soldiers in the rebellion. The controls work great I think every shooter on the psp should have these controls. You use the analog stick to move and if you hold R it will automatically lock on to your target: it may not sound perfect but it works. The game is short but it has a ton of replay ability. There is an instant action mode which is like online but against the AI. You have capture the flag, conquest, and other modes. Instant action is highly addictive. There is also an online mode which the game doesn't need but it's a cool feature.
