Guilty Gear this game is one of the rare gems in fighting games it isnt for everyone however as a competitive fighting game player I found this game to be amazing though and so this review is from the perspective of a competitive fighter if you are a casual fighter turn back now.
Graphics: While not nice 3-D models you would see in some others the sprite work is top notch there has only been 1 fighter I am aware of that came close to matching the brilliance of the spriting of Guilty Gear and that game was made by the people who made Guilty Gear the effects are well placed and rarely look akward however this game clearly has a distinct style as it is very Metal/Anime centric however you don't need to like either of those things to appreciate the sprite work.
Sound: This is what this game is generally known for Guilty Gear has one amazing soundtrack containing awsome Metal music it just takes the experience of a high adrenaline fighter and multiplys it 10 fold.
Gameplay: The gameplay of Guilty Gear is fast paced you will need to be on your toes for the entire match. There is a balancing game mechanic that helps with the damaging combos that this game has called Burst which is the most important gamplay feature of Guilty Gear and adds a lot of strategy and depth to the game and thats just 1 mechanic.
I introduced this game to my friends in 2008 and we have been tournament regulars ever since once again highly recommended to fighting game lovers you will not regret it.

Pros: Nothing bad to say
Cons: Nothing good to say either
This game is worth buying
What can I say? It is another type of competitive fighter. I enjoyed it though. It has this gothic heavy metal type of feel to its' unique art work, music, and crazy/kinky characters. Fans of the guilty gear series and competitive fighters are definitely going to love it though and probably already preorder the game when it first came out.
