you start on a boat with people and than you end up on a island in the middle of nowhere. Then you need to sleep eat and find your food to live on the island. Once you get far in the game by collecting stuff than you might be able to build a big house on the island. I did not relly like the sound in the game and thought it was poor but overall it was a great game. I thought that the challange was very had because the person can get hungry very fast. The game is what I espected because it is hard sometimes you might be going around in circles for like 5 days because it is so hard. The one other hard part is finding rope because it looks like vines. The game is for a good price and it will keep you occupied for a long time if you like action games.

This is probably the one of the most exciting games I own. It's fun its one of those games you can keep a week without beating it. The controls are some what simple to learn and You will probably get used to it within 20 minutes of playing it. The sound is great, when you are on the beach you can hear the waves. The Realism is awesome. The graphics are great for a handheld system, way better then the ds. I have owned the game for about a week and I'm already amazed. I got so addicted on this game it's that great. This game is probably worth the amount of money you pay for it and will aways be a fan favorite of the Sims collection. Overall this game is probably the best sims games out their and it will keep you addicted to it. So I suggest you go out and buy this game now!

I just bought this the Sims 2 Castaway 3 days ago and I am still playing it is addicting and challenging because you have to find your way to get to the island and you have to take care of yourself in that game if you don't you die I think but it is a good game. I never played a game that long in my life but now WoW ! Its totally worth it if you like to be more challenging like hunt stuff, build your own house somewhere like that, but I got mines used because that's the only one they have in stock in my area in Gamestop, and I never ever played sims in my whole life but just with this one game its the old sims for playstation and that game was boring but I like castaway the most. I would recommend this game if you are bored at home, got nothing else to do or traveling somewhere. For me I can't even stop playing this game because I like it so much that I have to finish it. Worth the money.

I just bought this game today and I love it. It's a nice storyline and it doesn't get boring. If you watch the shows Survivor Man, Man vs. Wild, or Survivor you will love this game. You can hunt, build things, climb trees and much more! You start the game washed up ashore. Your on the island and all you have is A mattress, pocketknife, and toilet paper. The rest you must find. You see a book which helps you learn the controls and understand the game. You can make stuff like a spear for fishing which is a lot of fun. You can eat coconuts, cook the fish that you caught, make a fire, and make a shelter. At the beginning of the game when you're designing your sim it asks you what your occupation is. I chose Park ranger. Each occupation has its Pros and Cons in the game. Reading the instruction book that comes with the game really helps you decide which occupation is right for you. Since I love fishing I chose the park ranger cause he can fish. You should definitely by this game and it's so worth the money.
