great all around accessory

I love this PS3 eye camera/mic. Like others have said I love that I bought it for the mic because you don't have to attach it too your ear to talk in it. While you concentrate on the game your friends can talk in the mic also. The camera is good to. The Software is called Eye Create that you download in the Playstation store. There are some pretty cool little games that you can buy for it or download the free software to make a movie with the camera. I mostly use it for its mic Capabilities. I use this mic for all the games that I play. After a while of using it the black paint has started to flake off the mic part of this accessory but that’s my only complaint. Great accessories to own do not need anything else. It does everything. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a mic or camera.

PS EYE AWESOME!

I first noticed the PS EYE when I was looking on the ps3s accessories video on the playstation network I saw that it would look fun to use and be able to chat with actual people so I got for that reason only. Little did I know that it was going to make it be way better than a headset or bluetooth, because it has a built in mic in it that works beautifully the range you get when you speak in it is great! And here's the kicker you dont need to charge it at all, that right there just killed me! The eyecreate that comes with it is totally awesome when you want to make like an amateur video or if you want to take a quick pic of yourself. If you ever played/have Burnout Paradise or even LBP you should already know you can take a license pic- BP or just take a pic and put on ur pod-LBP. ALL IN ALL THIS IS A MUST MUST BUY!

The camera is a must buy for every PlayStation 3 owners. This camera can capture your voice so you don't need a headset or Bluetooth so buy this.The Playstation Eye is amazing!!! You can use the EyeCreate program to change the FX and make your picture look pretty neat. Within the next week 3 games are going to be released including "Aquatopia", "Operation Creature Feature", and "The Trails Of Topoq". These games all are made exclusively for the Playstayion Eye. ( They Will Not Work With The EyeToy!)Overall the Playstatioon Eye is an amazing product and it has amazing video quality, not to mention the noise cancelling microphone.it have a free download game coupon that can be changed for the downloable game so buy it now $edit.

AWESOME: BUT NEED MORE COMPATABILITY

This is the most awesome webcam (if you wanna even call it that) ever made! The fact that you can use it for your headset and chat without even having anything connected to your ear is awesome. The camera is great, and the mic and speakers are great additions. I give this design a 10 out of 10, easy. Also, it matches the PS3 very well, i have mine on top of my High Def TV and it looks sweet. Having also owned an XBOX 360 and as a PC gamer, i would have to say PS3 owners owe it to themselves to own this camera, which is the best on the market within this price range. My only complaint would be that Sony is not backing this product as much as they should be as far as compatiblity goes.... so far, i have really only used it with little big planet, burnout paradise, and to chat with others. I think it would be sweet if you could put yourself in some games (maybe your own face in fight night or rainbow six...). Great camera, but we PS3 owners need more games supporting such a sweet accesory.
