Bully: Scholarship Edition

Bully: Scholarship Edition takes place in the fictional New England boarding school of Bullworth Academy, and tells the story of 15-year-old Jimmy Hopkins as he experiences the highs and lows of adjusting to a new school. Capturing the hilarity and awkwardness of adolescence perfectly, Bully: Scholarship Edition pulls the player into its cinematic and engrossing world. Rockstar does harsh games like Max Payne and GTA, but what about Bully? This is a game just as great as any Rockstar game, but it's different. It's funnier, immature, but yet still crosses boundaries and creates a game that doesn't baby it down. A greay example of a rated T game that will suck you out of the rated M world.

Bully: Scholarship Edition is a terrific game with a great plot, incredible characters, fun gameplay, amazing execution, relatable yet enticing scenarios, and loads of things to do no matter what, all this combined with the golden touch of Rockstar comedy. My only real complaint is about the graphics (and that's only since I play GTA 4 a lot) but I love the artwork style. Sure the prefects and police can make some real dumb moves that are annoying but that only drives you to pull more pranks, skip more classes, bully more people, and beat up more people. It will always be a favorite game of mine.

NO SPOILERS ABOUT STORY. In 2006 Rockstar games released Bully for the PlayStation 2. It was an amazing game, then in 2010 they released Bully: Scholarship Edition. Now first off I want to say that this game is NOT a sequel to the original Bully, it's just a HD remake for the XBOX 360, WII, and PC. In this remake they added more missions, characters, classes, minigames, and High Definition graphics. In Bully you play as 15 year old Jimmy Hopkins as you make your way through the baddest school around, Bullworth Academy. You will be bullied by the other students when you first arrive, but as you progress through the game ( the game goes by chapters ) you will earn the respect of the different cliques in the school. There are Bullies, Greasers, Preppies, Nerds, Jocks, and Townies ( a.k.a dropouts ). Each group has there own chapter in the game where you will interact with them. Bully has a great storyline, AMAZING music, and a fantastic lasting appeal, Once you beat this game you will be begging for Bully 2. We all want it. I definitely recommend you buy or at least play this game. You WONT regret it.

I heard about this game from a friend when I told him I liked GTA but I'm one of the people who gets super nervous when playing games where you can die. He recommended Bully and as a girl, I was like "Eh, I don't know, I'm not that into these kind of things." But I went out and bought it and I finished it within a week. It draws you in. The plot is good, I never skipped scenes because I was interested in what was happening. The characters were unique and there was a lot of interaction, especially seen in all the different types of townies. The setting was vast, I'm STILL discovering places and I've already beat the game. Sometimes it's a little too big, but you manage. The graphics, admittedly, aren't mind blowingly amazing, but the detail is great and the games make up for it. I love the changing seasons and how you can enter virtually any area. I'm still amused by this game and I've already beat it. It's great for the price too. I paid 25 bucks for it used and I'm sort of obsessed. I do wish it was a bit longer but I'm sure I'm alone on that, haha. 10/10 overall.

Bully was a big hit for the Ps2. So, Rockstar decided to spread the legend for the Xbox 360. And while this game delivers on some of the high notes of GTA, the game is kind of shallow. While it is probably the most underrated game for the 360, that doesn't mean it is amazing. Bully's biggest problem falls under the story category. While the game starts off great, the middle drags on and the game ends on a bittersweet note. I think the problem is that they ran out of ideas and were saving everything for something exciting. While Bully can be better, it is still a lot of fun. Yes, it is mostly fetch quests, but something makes the game very charming. Overall, Bully is GTA's little brother.

As you see from my summary you-tube helped me out decide wether I wanted this game. And I got it for $30. Big price for such an old game but so worth it. This game is great for Kids 13-17. Its really fun if you get the jokes and love punching teachers. And also in a way its like GTA but for Teens and younger kids. But really its a great game but look at gameplay on you-tube before buying it helped me alot.

Yes, this is the best (if not only) High School game I have ever played. The High School is filled with a bunch of sterotypical preps, jocks, nerds, and greasers. The characters are colorful enough that you'll actually know the characters by name just by the way they talk and how they act. You'll be doing strange and fun things throughout the game. Things that range from kissing girls (or guys) to gain health, dissecting a crow in biology, racing go-karts at the carnival (and around town), to dancing in a red bull mascot costume. I know a game that involves school sounds boring, thats how I felt about the game when my neighbor brought it over. Once I gave it a chance, I was hooked within the first ten minutes.

If you sit down at a lunch table at your school and a fellow classmate asks' "What did you do yesterday", you might answer "I wedgied a nerd, stuffed him in a trash can, mocked him for 20 minutes, told my teacher to suck it, slap a girl's butt, slap a boys face and kicked a prefect in the balls. While this may shock and appal most people, fellow Bully players will understand. Are you a scrawny weakling, a paranoic shut-in, a complete idiot or nerd, or yoy just want to play a really good game, you should get Bully. Bully grants you a sense of complete power over adults and teenagers alike, taunting, humiliating, and (quite often) fighting. As Jimmy Hobkins, you are a powerful young boy who has so many emotional and life probloms that he takes it out on the students of Bullworth. But no one cares about Jimmy's probloms, they just want to get to the butt-kicking. If you don't mind some violence, then you can't help but crack a smile when a kid laughs at you for wearing a stupid shirt, you calmly walking over and grabbing a baseball bat, and then jumping the kid ten minutes later and smash his head in (unfortunnentally not a literal ability in the game). There are plenty of minigames, missions, side-missions, fetch errands and collecting to do throughout the gaame. I just replayed it for the 5th time and it is only slightly boring me. If you need to crave your gaming hunger with a long fun fast-paced game, I strongly reccomend you get this king of fighting games.

What a bad review. You did not talk about the game at all. Go back to watching anime or something.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
It's graphics are descent. The gameplay is good. Just like any Rockstar game. (except the midnight club series and the poker) It's an old game and they should reduce the price... I would recommend it for $13-16.00 but not that much.
