now i just recently traded in my xbox 360 for this (and now im thinking why did i do that). well the reason why is that online gameplay for the playstation is free as compared to the xbox live gold membership fee. this system is fairly moderate and it has a moderate selection of good games. if your looking for a better value in the long run, do this, but if your looking for fun in the long run and have tons of money at your disposal, then go for the xbox 360. movies cost less on playstation, it is easier to log into netflix and the playstation games are actually cheaper in my opinion, as opposed to zune and microsoft ripping off every penny you have. have fun, this is your desicion.

Only had it for 26 days and it's already dead with the yellow lights, the thing lagged from time to time while playing most games. I use gamefly and now I can't get my game out to return it so are they going to pay me for my gamefly also I think this is pretty wack.

This is the best console ever invented! It is great plus the controls are easy to use and you have free Internet acces unlike the 360.

My first one died inside of six days, I got it replaced and the second one worked fine for about a year... then the system started to glitch between the major lag. and the infinite pixel thing that got progressively worse. until one day i got home and wanted to just relax and talk to friends while shooting people, when my ps3 turned on for a while and i got into a game and then the system shut off, when i tried to turn it back on it had the yellow light of death, happy day.
