I'm not too sure about this, i want it badly and will probably get it but the comments on this thread however say different things some say it e people love it and gave it a 10, others dont think it is worth it and gave it a 6 and said its is worth what your paying and others gave it a 2 and said it breaks within a month. I had a PS3 slim and i loved it so much. Only reason why i sold it was because my brother broke his xbox and wanted to buy my PS3 and at the time i wanted an xbox. Worst idea ever BTW. Honestly with the past experiences i think the PS3 is awesome always was and there are some pretty wicked games on it too. You have resistance, Killzone, uncharted, little big planet, god of war, the list goes on and on. Besides the fact that PSN is free, getting a playstation is a great investment. Even if you do get YOLD/RLOD they are relatively easy to fix compared to the xbox's RROD. Its a great buy and i think with the stuff that i has built in it, its well worth 200 bucks.

did your get your ps3 refurbished from gamestop and if you did do they work pretty well get worth buying im looking to buy for someone as a bday gift.

Bad choice

I'm very disappointed in my PS3. I was hoping to get in replace of my Wii (which has bad graphics and poor game selection) but as of now I prefer my Wii over the Playstation 3. There are more bugs in one game than a whole ant colony. I've been trying to play GT5 for an hour but I keep having to restart the system only to get more frozen screens. If you are reading this ttake my advice and get the Xbox. Even though you have to pay for internet, there are much less problems.

it was probley the game that was messed up i,am mean why do you think the xbox 360 is chaper because its nothing but a bad choice all you had to do is maybe try another game out

okay first of this system is the best system ever and sony has been great and i bought all the ps1 ps2 psp and the ps3! its awesome so i would recommend this system.

When the PS3 came out, we kind of expected it to be a lot like the PS2 only this time we would be able to get online and play against one another. Well...we were wrong. My brother got this system 4 Christmases ago and we have not been able to get over it yet. It was dead within 2 weeks after buying it brand new. Our dad called Sony to tell them about the problem and the customer serivce rep was very rude and hostile towards him telling him, "well it's not our fault". How is it not your fault? The system was brand new obviously you didn't do something right or it would still be working! Anyway, we tried to return the system but the store wouldn't take it back so we were stuck with it until we finally found somebody who wanted it. The yellow light of death had come on and the two wireless controllers that came with it originally did not work anymore. The entire system was coput. PS3 is only popular because you can play blu-ray, hi-def videos on it. Never once does anyone mention the actual gameplay or graphics. This system is awful and from my experience we won't be purchasing any Sony products from now on. I recommend you stay away from the hype of this expensive and really not worth it system. If you want to play hi-def movies, buy a nice DVD player otherwise just forget it!

I just got this today and I couldn't get off of it! This is the best game system ever made! If you want to buy a bluray player, I would buy this instead. The graphics are amazing. I would pass this over a Xbox 360 any day. This Slim one might look better but to tell you the truth, it burns up a lot faster. This is because of Sony design of the new slimmer look, they had to cram everything in. I would buy this one because this is the best design for any system. Original is your best bet.
