I went to buy this game system only because it's compatible for the PS3 and PS2 games. I brought home it, I connected it to my T.V. and suddenly it turns off! I returned it to gamestop and of course they gave me my money back as promised. I later went and bought a PlayStation 3 Slim 160 GB. Best game system ever. I'm a huge Sony fan, and after this I became highly disappointed! Basically, I'm trying to say don't buy game systems that are pre-owned. It's a recommendation from a regular customer of GameStop.

picked one of these up 2 months ago. and so far i dont have much to comlain about. its a bit loud, but thats what to expect with any older model of a system. overall though, its still not as good of a running system compared to my xbox (also an older model). i recommend it to any casual gamer looking for a fair priced system with a good selection of games. but for hardcore gamers, you better just stick with the box.

i got my ps3 for christmas when it first came out, and i havnt had a problem with it yet and i use it on a daily basis. Everyone should get one!!!

When this item was purchased for me as a gift, it was a great deal. After the Sony hacking, the network being done ALOT, then finally my system getting the Yellow light of death. I will never buy another Sony product again. Need to trade in my games and buy a new Xbox.

i have also owned the xbox 360 since it came out newer and older systems and this system has outlasted all of my xboxs and i leave my ps3 on all the time i play on a day to day bases and never had a problem i very rarly play the xbox and never online and it still gets the red ring of death even the newer system i had did it so dont say anything about a stupid yellow ring of death when the xbox gets the red ring of death a whole lot more then the ps3
